Updated Class of 2022 Player Rankings (September)
The 2022 class is chalk full of talent and we got to see first had a ton of guys put on a show at our events. The future is bright in New England for the Class of 2022.
We have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.
Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the updated 2022 Player Rankings.
WHO’S AT THE TOP?
It has been a very busy summer and we have seen a bunch of players who have improved and made a name for themselves. We look forward to seeing how these guys grow and continue their baseball careers.
- Joe Allen is atop our rankings, as the Michigan commit continues to impress on the national circuit.
- Matt Scott (Video), moves to the second ranked player in New England.
- Evan Blanco sits directly behind his as the left-hander hones his craft and will spend his college career at UVA.
- Thomas Rogers, right-hander sits 4th in the rankings.
- Coming in directly behind them is Liam Doyle, he remains uncommitted but is garnering a ton of college attention. The 2022 class is full of pitching and should continue to impress and hold their own on the national forefront.
RISERS
- Ryan Daniels, the UConn commit tore it up out in Long Beach at the Area Codes. The bat and athleticism stand out for this young man.
- Robbie O’Connor, long and lanky right-hander just recently committed to Wake Forest. His projection is through the roof.
- Jackson Rusiecki (Video), physical right-handed hitter, headed to North Carolina. He has shown power potential with the bat.
SLEEPERS
- Jake Needham, big and long right-hander remains uncommitted. The projection is there and he has shown plus stuff.
- Isaac Zhang (Video), left-handed pitcher and hitter was impressive in a workout this summer.
- Jake Sullivan, left-handed pitcher has plus feel for what he is doing on the mound.
- Tyler Gutsfeld, plus runner who continues to develop the bat.
- William Parker, right-hander who is relatively unknown. The stuff is there.
- Jamie Palmese is a standout athlete who should find a home quickly as he is a 6.6 runner.
- Creighton Wesson is an interesting prospect on the bump as he is big with leverage.
- Liam McIlroy is a quick twitch athlete who always shows well at our events.
- Ryan Cloutier is a quick arm right-hander with his best days in front of him.
