Updated Class of 2023 Player Rankings (September)
The class of 2023 in New England is outstanding on the prep baseball front. We have the #1 prospect in the country in our region and many more right behind him that look to play big time college baseball and/or professional baseball. This coming spring should bring the scouts our in droves to see the players flourish in the New England region. Again, we are thankful to be able to cover the talent New England has to offer.
Below we will take a look at “Who's At The Top”, "The Newcomers", "The Sleepers" and "Top Uncommitted By Position".
Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the 2023 Player Rankings.
WHATS NEW AT THE TOP
- Thomas White has committed to Vanderbilt and he remains atop the rankings. He had an outstanding summer before shutting down for rest purposes.
- Alex Clemmey, is another left-hander headed to Vanderbilt. He, too, had a big time summer, flashing great numbers on the radar gun. He moves up into the top 4 of our rankings.
- Javar Williams, the two sport start has decided to play baseball at Wake Forest. We believe, once, he is fully committed to one sport he will blossom. He is a legit athlete.
- Jack Cropper has burst onto the scene after has break performance at our ProCase. He is now making his way around the US, flashing above average stuff on the bump.
- James Raidt threw the baseball very well at the area code games, fast electric arm.
- Kevin Milewski, a right-handed hitting catcher, had a monster spring, has committed to Seton Hall.
NEWCOMERS
- Garrett Burke, left-handed banger continues to improve his offensive prowess. He is still looking for a home. He should find himself in the middle of someone’s lineup in the coming years.
- Derek Maceda, left-handed hitting outfielder showed extremely well during a summer workout. He is unknown but the skill set is very good.
- Blake Newcomb, good looking right-handed hitting outfielder with above average skills.
- Alexander Iannuccilli showed very well on the mound at a workout this summer. He has above average arm speed, look out for him in the future.
- Jack Andrews, an athletic, physical infielder, can play multiple spots, committed to Delaware.
- Joel Strand, an above average catcher, with power is still available.
SLEEPERS TO WATCH
- Randy Guzman, the right-hander out of Rhode Island has his best days in front of him.
- Ronan Donohue, excellent athlete and player. Should bolster a college team’s lineup.
- Dylan Vigue, an arm that should be off the board already. He shows big time arm speed.
- Brian Downing, right-handed hitter who has excellent bat to ball skills.
- Justin Morris, big and right-handed. He shows above average spin and feel for the pitch
- Nicholas Guachione, advanced skill set behind the dish.
- Samuel Hutchinson, LHH with pop, can run and works off the mound as well, up to 87 mph.
- Jamie Leggett, RHP, quick arm with a ton more in there. Pounds the zone with a 3-pitch mix.
- Will Eustace, RHH, power to all fields, above average runner.
- Nevin Belanger, LHP pitcher, mixes all three pitches, locates to both slides, fastball in the low 80’s
