s a 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Belanger uses a long, high ¾ arm slot to p[roduce an impressive fastball that sits 84-86 MPH (Max spin 2183; Avg 2106) with some late sink. The delivery is simple, easy with a good tempo. He gets to a good position at the top before separating and heading down the mound in line with home plate. He lands square with an athletic finish. Belanger also featured a tight 12/6 curveball (65-66 MPH) (Max spin 2151; Avg 2060) and a late, fading changeup (72-75 MPH).
10/24/21
5-foot-10, 160-pounds, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, well proportioned, room for added weight gains. A left-handed pitcher, delivery is super smooth, building momentum down the mound. The leg lift is athletic, gets good extension on the finish and follow through, using the legs very well. The arm slot is a tick higher than 3/4, arm action is clean and easy. Pounds the zone with three pitches, the fastball is located to both sides, clocked at 81 mph, plays harder than that, look for a jump at some point. The changeup is a legit out pitch, works very well off the fastball, fade and down action to arm side, clocked at 68 mph. The spin pitch is late, with tilt and late break, can get it to the back foot of a right-handed hitter. Clocked in the mid 60's will need to add more fastball hand speed, but shows the makings of another out pitch. Big follow for me.

5-foot-10, 155-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, room for added weight gains, body works with minimal effort. A left-handed pitcher, delivery is very smooth, lift is athletic, inline direction. The frontside has minimal pull to it, tracks well to plate. The arm action is loose and clean on the backside, working out of a 3/4 to higher slot. The fastball reached 82 mph, jumps when it gets to the plate, look for a jump at some point. The changeup is a plus pitch, fade action to it, clocked at 68 mph, a swing and miss pitch. The breaking was clocked at 64 mph, more top to bottom break, will need to add fastball hand speed, pitch shows potential. Love the feel and tempo he has on the mound.

5-foot-10, 155-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, room for added weight gains, body works with minimal effort. A left-handed pitcher, delivery is simple and repeats it, hands start and stay at mid-chest. The lift is athletic with coil to it. The fastball was clocked at 81 mph, with arm side action to it. The breaking ball was clocked at 65 mph, bigger break with proper spin and tilt to it. The changeup has a chance to be a legit out pitch, arm side action, proper fade and spin to it, clocked at 65 mph. Look for velocity to climb, pitch-ability looks to be high.
