We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2022 Scout Day: Baseball U CT. This was a great opportunity for 2023-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2022 Scout Day: Baseball U CT - Quick Hits

Position Players

• Aidan Stern, 2023- A left-handed hitter, balanced simple approach, short quick swing, flicks the barrel, stays through it well. Stronger, thick wrists. Plus legs, ran 6.78 and is super quick behind the plate.
• Garrett Larson, 2023- A right-handed hitter, short, flat swing, baseball jumps off the bat, a 6.81 runner. Can play all over the field, 83 mph arm from outfield, good actions up the middle.
• Tyler Kisling, 2024- A right-handed hitter, a physically strong frame. Potentially to really hit and hit with power, more of a pull approach, enough juice to beat the outfielders, 94 exit velocity and threw 83 mph from outfield. Possible two-way guy, threw well off the mound.
• Owen Arias, 2023- A right-handed hitting catcher, can swing, pop to all fields, short to contact, lift and length after.
• Trey Begasse, 2023- An offensive middle infielder, probably projects out to play more third at next level. The approach is advanced, and has a feel for hitting.
• Spencer Chard, 2023- Showed good tools on both sides of the field. The swing is short and crisp, line drives to both gaps, exit velocity at 98 mph. Showed ability to defend in both infield and outfield. Interesting prospect.
• Joel Strand, 2023- Physical right-handed hitter, potentially to it and hit with power, had exit velocity of 98 mph. Pop time in the high 1.8’s, all throws on the bag, arm is electric.
• Paddy Galvin, 2023- A right-handed hitter, an old school ball player, can play all over, gap juice at the plate. Good flow and actions in infield, projects more at 2nd or 3rd base. Showed a 3 pitch mix off the mound, fastball up to 83 mph, with arm side action.
• Myles Gythfeldt, 2023- A right-handed hitting twitchy athlete. Can really run, ran a6.71 sixty-yard dash. Exit of 89 mph, featuring a level smooth path. The arm was up to 86 mph from the outfield.
• Charlie LaFreniere, 2023- A monster right-handed hitter, above average power to all fields, exit at 98 mph. Ran an easy 7.10 sixt, long strider, threw 85 mph from outfield. Potential of being a draft pick.
• Maico Cardona, 2023- A right-handed hitter, a gap to gap approach, exit velocity at 94 mph. Maico has made a nice jump, body and frame have changed. Good looking athlete.
• Will Eustace, 2023- A right-handed hitter, pull power, lift and loft to the swing, an offensive threat.

The Arms

• Ryan Oshinskie, 2023- A right-handed hitter, long and loose on the backside, working from a  natural ¾ slot. The fastball is electric, up to 86 mph. Breaking ball is thrown harder at 74 mph. Committed to Brown after this event, great sign.
• William Nardella, 2023- A left-handed pitcher, super clean and free and easy arm action. Plenty of life, fastball was clocked at 80 mph, plays harder, with a ton more in there. Biting breaking ball at 70 mph, mixed in a legit change piece.
• Tristan Pearl, 2023- A left-handed pitcher, has made a nice jump, fastball up to 84 mph, located to glove side, mixed in a 71 mph slider.
• Andrew Rondini, 2024- A right-handed pitcher, super clean arm and easy repeatable delivery. The fastball was at 83 mph, look for him to pitch in the upper 80’s, with good secondary stuff, pounds the zone.
• Nevin Belanger, 2023- A left-handed pitcher, super clean arm and delivery, up to 86 mph, with two above average secondary pitches. Major feel and competes at a very high level.
• Owen Sotero, 2023- A right-handed pitcher,  bid bodied kid, short, quick, whippy arm action. Fastball up to 84 mph, heavy arm side sink, look for a jump.
• Shepard Griffiths, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, long and loose arm action, up to 83 mph with more in there. Harder breaking ball at 74 mph, look for a spike.
• Will Stellato, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, easy delivery, repeats it, look for him to throw with velocity, will be a strike thrower.
• Nick Hios, 2023- A left-handed pitcher, bigger, athletic frame, quick arm at 82-85 mph.
