10/24/21
6-foot-2, 150-pound, long, thin, lean athletic frame, with plenty of room for added weight gains. A two-way player, showed very well on both sides of the field, having a big time chance off the mound. The delivery is athletic, repeats it with ease. The arm action is super loose, great extension on release, athletic finish, in good fielding position. The fastball is located down in the zone, clocked at 84 mph, with a spin rate close to 2600. The breaking ball reached 72 mph, harder and late break. The changeup is above average at 76-77 mph. Offensively, approach is middle to opposite, hands are inside the baseball, crisp line drive swing. Short and simple stroke, with a controlled lower half. Defensively, clean prep steps, getting around the baseball, momentum towards target. Soft glove with good actions. Love him off the bump.
3/19/21
6-foot-1, 140-pound, longer, thin, wiry strong athletic frame. Longer body with room for added weight gains. Showed very well defensively at this event. The feet are very good, smooth, fielding off the proper foot, gains ground towards target. The glove is super soft, fielding out front, works through the baseball. Shows a quick transfer to throwing arm, arm working from short quick 3/4 slot. The arm was clocked at 76mph, with a ton more in there. All turns and feeds around the bag were performed correct. Offensively, taller, shorter stance, slightly open. The hands are held higher, using a higher leg kick to get loaded. The swing is down to level, more of a hands inside the baseball approach, looking to go opposite. Could finish the swing more. The exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, will need to add strength. Projects out to be a high level defender.
