is a solid 6-foot-4, 210-pound outfield prospect. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 97 mph with a (72.7 mph bat speed average) and (21.5 mph hand speed average). He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A short stride initiates a simple, flat swing that stays on plane through his finish. During his round, he produced a lot of loud contact, showed a quick bat and used the entire field. In the outfield, his best throw was 85 mph while showing he has sure hands, smooth, athletic feet, and a fluid exchange. LaFreniere also recorded a 60 time of 7.1 at the event.

10/24/21
6-foot-4, 210-pound, strong physical frame, well proportioned athlete with strength throughout, an advanced frame. A right-handed hitting outfield, shows plus pop to all fields. The stance is balanced, even feet, loose hands above the shoulders. The lower half is under control, a small pick up and put down. The swing is powerful, a level to up path, keeps hands inside the baseball, with lift to it. The exit velocity is well above average at 96 mph. Looks to be super comfortable in outfield, tracks and runs down the baseball with ease. One of the better players in the area, high follow for me.
Exit Velocity: 96 mph
3/19/21
6-foot-4, 205-pound, larger, physical athletic frame. Longer neck, sloped shoulders, with plenty of room for added strength gains. A right-handed hitting outfielder, shows a big arm from outfield, clocked at 88 mph. The arm action is longer and clean on the backside, approach is under control, longer stride, is out front on release, all throws were on a line and on target. The transfer is clean and quick. At the plate, taller, shorter stance, starts slightly open, hands are relaxed set at the shoulders, with bat tilt. The lower half is under control, small pick up and put down, with backside drive. The swing is level to up, is behind the baseball on contact. Advanced exit velocity at 94 mph, is a plus runner for his size and age, running a 6.94 sixty-yard dash. A toolsy type athlete, put together a solid workout.

6-foot-3, 195-pound, strong physical athletic frame. Rounded shoulders with plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitting two-way player, at the plate the stance is wider stance, even feet. The hands start closer to the frame, more of a vertical bat setup. The lower half is under control, small pick up into a stride, hands are back on separation and foot strike. The swing is level to up, hands are inside, creates natural lift and loft to the swing, backspin to the baseball. The approach is middle to pull, showing enough juice to beat the outfielders, had an exit velocity of 92 mph and ran a 7.16 sixty-yard dash. From the outfield approach is under control, clean shuffle, long and loose arm action from a 3/4 slot. The arm was clocked at 80 mph, comes out of the hand with ease. Off the mound, arm works from a high 3/4 slot, pitches down hill, front side is firm on foot strike. The finish is out front with extension, locates to glove with ease. The fastball reached 84 mph, comes out well, with a ton more in there. The breaking shows good spin needs to be thrown hard, clocked at 65 mph and mixed in a true changeup. Big projection for this one.
