Aidan Stern: C/2B, (2023) Avon Old Farms, CT. Trinity College (CT) Commit, 5-foot-9, 185-pound athletic lean build. Athletic and projectable at the plate, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 76 mph during throw downs; shows a natural clean transfer, soft developing hands, and developing athletic feet. had a pop time of 2.00-2.05. Clean setup. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.9. (Max spin ; Avg ).

is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound catching prospect. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 95 mph with a (72.3 mph bat speed average) and (21.7 mph hand speed average). He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. A short stride triggers a short, flat swing that stays on plane through his finish. During his round, he produced a lot of loud contact, showed a quick bat and used the entire field. Behind the plate, Stern was up to 78 mph, with a pop time range of 1.91-2.06 during throw downs. His initial set up is calm. The feet are square, the chest up tall and the glove is relaxed in the center of the chest. As he transitioned to throwing, he showed a fluid transfer, sure hands, and consistent, smooth feet. Stern also showed real speed at this event with a 60 time of 6.78.

5-foot-9, 170-pounds, smaller, strong athletic frame, put together well, with strength throughout. A left-handed hitter, even feet at the shoulders, relaxed hands, with bat tilt. The swing is level through the zone, swing is short to the baseball, compact swing with length after. Rolls the hands late, creating line drives to lift, with more of a middle to pull side approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 93 mph, the baseball jumps off the bat, hard contact in batting practice. A good runner, ran an easy 7.10 sixty-yard dash. Showed very well defensively, the feet are active and clean, good prep steps, gets around the baseball with momentum moving towards target. Working low to the ground, the glove is soft, quick transfer to throwing arm. The arm action is short and clean, from a 3/4 slot, clocked at 79 mph. Worked clean around the bag on turns, projects out for me as a high level second baseman.
