Threw 60 mph (2.28-2.3) from behind the plate. The feet are active getting out of his stance and into the transition to the throwing position. He also gets high, causing him to get hard on the front side and fall toward 3B.The glove to hand transition is good and the arm swing is short and extends well through his throw. At the plate, the tee exit velocity was 75 mph. The initial set up is athletic and balanced. The hands push back quietly into the launch position and the stride is a short glide step. The bat path is a flat direct stroke to contact. Extends well through contact, which produced a lot of hard contact. This is a good looking young player. I’m looking forward to seeing him develop. The hit tool has a real chance.
