Tons of flexibility and athletic wide setup. Used an-over-the-top slot with a short quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.81.

6-foot-2 ,180-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He had a very good day at the event. He ran a 7.15 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is solid, throwing 73 mph down to second base with a 1.97 pop time. The receiving is trending up as he can continue to work on softening the glove and remaining flexible. The bat has an exit velocity of 92 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work freely to the ball and he finishes high. He doubled and homered in game play. He is a very good 2023 prospect.

6-foot-2, 177-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He ran a 7.16 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is developing as he threw 67 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.06. The foot work needs to be smoothed out during the transfer and continuing to develop the arm strength is imperative. The receiving needs to continue to soften and work on securing the catch. The bat has an exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is even in base and he steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is slightly uphill to contact. He needs to loosen up the hands as he looks tied up at times when he swings the bat.

Threw 60 mph (2.28-2.3) from behind the plate.  The feet are active getting out of his stance and into the transition to the throwing position.  He also gets high, causing him to get hard on the front side and fall toward 3B.The glove to hand transition is good and the arm swing is short and extends well through his throw.At the plate, the tee exit velocity was 75 mph. The initial set up is athletic and balanced.  The hands push back quietly into the launch position and the stride is a short glide step.  The bat path is a flat direct stroke to contact.  Extends well through contact, which produced a lot of hard contact.  This is a good looking young player.  I’m looking forward to seeing him develop.  The hit tool has a real chance.
