Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and plays through balls athletically. Short, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and explosive lower half. Gap to gap, power type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 94 mph. Also posted a 4.5 home to 1st. Left-handed pitcher with short arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 77-80 mph with control and occasional life. Breaking ball showed 1/7 shape with near fastball arm speed and gradual break at 64-68 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and sink action at 69-74 mph.

8/13/19: Impressed this past spring, launching 10 home runs as a freshman for the Tigers. Beloso shows solid raw strength but lacked bat speed and explosiveness swinging wood this summer, potentially limiting the projection on the future power ceiling.
