Updated Class of 2023 Player Rankings (April)
As we flow into the spring season of 2022 we are looking forward to covering New England and watching some of the country's best high school baseball players showcase. The 2023 class of New England is quite talented and well on its way to becoming one of the better grad classes of New England in quite a bit.
Below we will take a look at the risers, top arms, top bats, top uncommitted prospects to see this spring and the top uncommitted prospects by position.
Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the 2023 Player Rankings.
THE RISERS
- Jack Cropper, right-hander up to 94 mph at the ProCase.
- David Castillo, legit two way prospect, still uncommitted.
- Jayder Raifstanger, making unreal progress with the bat.
- Cole Carbone, good looking hitter with a frame to fill out.
- Randy Guzman, quick armed right-hander with the makings of a plus slider.
- Ryan Buckler, Va Tech with an ultra fast arm.
- Justin Peguero, skilled infielder with his best days in front of him.
- Kevin Milewski, continues to climb, chance to have a monster bat.
- Jack Andrews, an offensive machine, plus tools, major jump this winter.
TOP ARMS
- Thomas White, best left-handed high school pitching prospect in the nation.
- Hiro Wyatt, advanced on the bump with a big time arm.
- Alex Clemmey, headed to Vanderbilt as the left-handers frame begins to fill out.
- James Raidt, right-hander with plus stuff and metrics.
- Chandler Coe, big right-hander with great leverage.
- Jack Cropper , quick armed right-hander headed to Northeastern.
- Tommy Turner, aggressive right-handed arm.
- Frank Spirito IV, an upper 80’s with a legit spin pitch.
- Nick Hunkele, a right-hander, super clean arm with a fastball at 86-88 mph, multiple secondary pitches.
- Bailey Goss, a righty, reclassing to 2023 class, was up to 89 mph this winter.
TOP BATS
- Javar Williams, ultra skilled left-handed hitting outfielder.
- David Castillo, potential two way prospect.
- Alex Marot, aggressive and skilled right-handed bat.
- Jayder Raifstanger, left-handed hitting corner infielder.
- Justin Peguero, skilled middle infielder.
- Evan Blake, offensive right-handed hitting corner infielder.
- Joel Strand, power hitting right-handed hitter, chance to hit with juice, plus arm behind the dish.
WHO TO SEE THIS SPRING! (Uncommitted)
- David Castillo, right-handed pitcher and middle infielder fits the mold of a high level prospect.
- Randy Guzman, has an electric right arm, he is certainly a guy to see if traveling through Rhode Island this spring.
- Ryan Grundy, is a left-handed hitting banger.
- Nic Frink, good looking catcher/right-handed pitcher from Maine.
- Ronan Donohue and Gavin Donohue, are twin brothers, they have turned themselves into D1 prospects.
- Andrew Manning, athletic and ultra skilled left-handed hitting outfielder.
- Sean O’Leary, big and physical left-handed hitting corner infielder.
- Eisig Chin, left-handed hitting outfielder with legit potential.
- Dylan Vigue, potential two way but will more than likely make his way on the bump as the arm is real.
- Ben Waterman, is a ultra quick right-hander with above average stuff.
- Joshua Murphy, is a good looking left-hander with a plus slider.
- Javar Williams, is a guy everyone should see this spring.
- Gavin O’Brien, is a long and lengthy athlete, with tools.
- Charlie LaFreniere, a physical right-handed hitter, hit tool is advanced.
- Myles Gythfeldt, can play all over, plays at a high level, with speed.
- Tayon Weber, big bodied, hard throwing right-handed pitcher.
- Matt Santoro, is an interesting two-way player, up to 85 mph from left-side.
