Shoulders are level throughout and he stays under control throughout the effortless delivery. Full arm circle with some visible arm speed from a lower three-quarter arm slot. Fastball exploded out of the hand and flashed some late arm side life sitting at 84-86 mph and touching 87 on occasion. Curveball had 11/5 shape and showed feel for the 66-68 mph breaker. Changeup was 72-74 mph.

Solid athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. On the mound displayed simple controlled mechanics, engages backside to drive down the mound, and lands slightly closed. Shoulders level, full arm circle, and displayed some arm speed getting through from a low three-quarter arm slot. Pitched with some intent and challenged hitters with a fastball that got up to 85 mph and sat at 82-84. The breaking ball had tight firm spin at 73-74 mph with more of a slider look. Changeup was firm with late hard fade and was thrown with intent. The changeup sat at 75-77 mph and flashed solid secondary pitch potential.

McCormick Buchner LHP St. Mary's (MD) 2020 (Rider)
Projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Delivery starts with side step rocker, lower half closed off at leg lift, and hands break early. Hips and shoulders elevated getting down the mound, lands on line at foot strike, and pitches with low effort but still has some pace to his mechanics. Average arm circle and throws from a low three-quarter arm slot. Fastball showed some solid arm side run to both sides of the plate and Buchner looked comfortable running back over to his glove side. Fastball sat 78-80 and touched 81 a few times. Curveball had 1/7 shape and sat 68-70 mph. Changeup had arm speed and intent at 70-71 mph.

Best of the Rest (In Alphabetical Order)

Hasan Aquil 1B/LHP Banneker 2020
Solid frame standing 5-foot-8, 180-pounds. On the mound starts delivery with small rocker step, higher leg lift, and gets down the mound landing on line. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, arm circle is longer, and arm slot is a lower three-quarter slot. Fastball was 66-68 mph and had control of the pitch to the arm side. Curveball was 58-61 mph with 1/7 shape.

Adam Astacio C/RHP St. John's College 2022
Compact athletic frame at 5-foot-7, 142-pounds. On the mound starts with a small rocker step, repeatable leg lift, and a down and out stride landing closed. Slightly open athletic stance from the right side. Small toe tap stride landing square, hands make small load back, and is short to the ball. Maintained balance throughout and lower half finished completely. Pull side tendency with the swing and an exit velocity of 75 mph.

Jake Becker SS/2B Sherwood (MD) 2021
Solid compact frame standing 5-foot-8, 165-pounds. Controlled pace on the mound, primarily worked from the stretch, and varied timing on hitters and runners. Worked out of two arm slots both with average effort. Low three-quarter slot where he displayed a fastball that he pounded the strike zone with. It showed some arm side run at times and sat 78-80 mph. The breaking ball from the same slot had a tighter 12/6 break at 65-68 mph. Becker also had feel for a side arm slot with two pitches. The fastball which had similar action as the three-quarter slot and the curveball had more 10/4 slurve action, but got both over from both slots.

Dylan Friebert RHP/3B Bethesda-Chevy Chase (MD) 2022
Projectable athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Solid frame at 5-foot-9, 220-pounds. Hippchen starts the delivery with a small rocker step, average leg lift, and gathered over the rubber. Slight drop and drive at times getting down the mound, shoulders fairly level, and lands on line. Arm circle is full and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 77-80 mph and touched 81 on occasion with some downhill action at times. Curveball showed an 11/5 shape at 70-72 mph. Changeup looked to be a solid secondary pitch especially if there can be a touch more velo taken off of it. It had hard fade, but was pretty firm at 76-77 mph.

Connor Klebrowski RHP/SS Loyola Blakefield (MD) 2022
Long thin projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 150-pounds with plenty of room to add strength. Shoulders elevated, lands slightly closed, and pitches with intent. Full arm circle that showed some arm speed and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball has some carry through zone and there is more in the tank as he continues to add strength to a projectable frame. Fastball sits at 77-80 mph. Strong projectable frame standing 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. On the mound Mishra displayed simple efficient mechanics to a low effort delivery. From the full hips and shoulders are elevated early while gliding down the mound. From the stretch Mishra presets to the backside and sinks a little more than he does from the windup. Lands on line from windup and stretch, loose full arm circle, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball worked downhill at times and appeared comfortable working to the arm side. Breaking ball showed some potential with tight 12/6 action freezing multiple hitters on the day. Projectable low effort arm that should be interesting to watch grow.

Fastball had some late arm side life down in the zone sitting 77-79 and touching 80 on occasion. Changeup flashed some upside and was firm at 71-72 with late hard fade. Curveball looks to still be developing and the pitch sat 62-65 mph.

Vinny Walsh LHP St. John's College 2021
Athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds that has some projection left to it. The left hander starts his controlled low effort delivery with a small rocker step, repeatable leg lift, and drives down the mound.
