Positional Profile: RHP/SS Body: 6’2”, 150 pounds. Long, lanky, athletic, projectable frame. Delivery: Starts with a subtle, side rocker step into a waist high leg kick. Mechanics are sounds, getting a good drive off his back leg. Gets all of his weight moving downhill, and towards the target. Lands in a solid, athletic fielding position. Arm Action: RH. Throws downhill out of a mid three-quarter arm slot. FB: T81 mph, 78-79 mph. Some arm-side run was displayed. CB: 68-70 mph. Long, loopy 11/5 action CH: 71-72 mph. Showed some fade at the plate.
Long thin projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 150-pounds with plenty of room to add strength. Right handed pitcher whose delivery starts with small rocker step, quick paced leg lift, and engages lower half early getting down the mound. Shoulders level and lands on line at foot strike. Full arm circle and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball flashed some run at times and worked to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball showed some promise with a 12/6 break and an advanced feel for the pitch. Changeup had solid arm speed and some late fade locating primarily to the arm side. At the plate hits with a slightly closed stance, bigger knee to knee leg kick, and hands drop into slot on load. Short path to the ball, hits against firm front side, and head stays behind at contact. Consistent line drives and primarily to the pull side, but did show ability to go the other way when needed. Exit velocity was 75 mph. Works outside the ball on approach, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Average arm circle and throws from a lower three-quarter arm slot at 76 mph across.
