Long projectable frame standing 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. On the mound worked primarily from the stretch, used a higher leg lift, and got down the mound with some pace and intent. Shoulders level, lands in line, and falls off slightly towards first base side. Arm circle is full and has some whippy action getting through at a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball had some late arm side life down in the zone sitting 77-79 and touching 80 on occasion. Changeup flashed some upside and was firm at 71-72 with late hard fade. Curveball looks to still be developing and the pitch sat 62-65 mph. Hits from a square athletic stance from the right side. Strides forward and lands slightly closed, hands are back, and bat is wrapped. Barrel gets on plane early and is quick out of the zone, but Springer flashed ability to get hands inside and turn on a pitch when needed. Exit velocity was 84 mph. Defensively he worked high off the bag, average hands, and fielded a little deep at catch. Arm action was full and throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 70 mph. Posted a 8.19 60 time.
