2018 ACME State Tournament at Defiance - Preview
DEFIANCE - ACME baseball has been around since 1961 and for baseball lifers from Northwest and Western Ohio it is something special. The 2018 version of the state tournament is shaping up to be one heck of a weekend at Defiance's beautiful complex.
Although sectional and district action is double elimination, the state tournament has become a one-and-done affair with this year's play running from Saturday through Monday (weather depending of course). There have been 29 combined ACME state titles between the eight participants in this year's field.
Below we have the schedule, team preview and many of the top players. During the tournament we will have coverage via twitter. Once the tournament is complete, we will have a scout blog with reports and videos on the top prospects of the tournament.
