Middle infielder that times feet well and has the ability to create angles prior to fielding. Second baseman type with soft hands and a quick transfer. Plays fast without compromising control. A right-handed hitter at the plate that starts in a taller stance. Uses a small leg lift for timing as hands stay simple through load and into launch. Compact stroke with slightly downhill tendencies at times. Will use the entire field. Table setter type bat with more present speed than strength to swing. Two-way prospect. Athletic presence on the mound. Works quick with an efficient delivery. Really fast arm/cean arm. Ball jumps out of hand with fastball sitting 82-84 mph. With that arm speed and clean delivery he’s going to throw as hard as frame suggest. Breaking ball was also impressive, showing sharp action on a near 12/6 plane at 74-77 mph. Stuff wise, the breaking is a legitimate out pitch.

Pittman was one of my favorite arms of the day, impressing with both stuff and pitchability. Delivery is clean and arm works. His over the top slot creates plane on his 80-83 mph fastball. Spins a very good breaking ball with present swing and miss. A definite college arm that is a velocity jump away from garnering scholarship attention with his athleticism and advanced secondary offering. Made the Top Performers list. Also worked out as a position player. A right-handed hitter that in a balanced setup. Loads is smooth, using a short stride for timing while taking hands slightly back to launch. Swing is compact on a mostly level path. More speed than strength to hands presently. Line drive type that fits as a table setter presently. Did a nice job of staying inside the ball, spraying line drives to the middle of the field. In the infield he has the ability to create efficient angles prior to fielding to play through the ball with rhythm. Feet are quick and he plays low through the baseball. Second baseman type skill set.

5-foot-11, 150 athletic pitcher provided good intent behind each action performed. Pittman throws from a ¾ arm slot with loose, clean arm action produced through his fluid mechanics. Did a good job providing force downhill on his follow through. Fastball was 78-79 mph. Changeup moved downward well keeping similar arm speed as his fast and throwing it 69-71 mph. His slider from 70-74 had good run to it and command it while living at the knees. Demonstrated good ability on the mound with plenty of upside.  At the plate the righty starts in a narrow stance. Uses a slight back load during his small leg lift and controlled stride. A contact type bat that takes a slightly downhill path to the baseball. Barrel has some whip/lag in there. Handles the low pitch very well. Should see easy improvements in pop with physical maturity. In the infield he does a nice job of creating angles with his feet to play through the baseball efficiently. Can get around the ball at times but showed nice rhythm when fielding on the left side of his body. Plays low and flashed above average glove skills. Skill set should play nicely at second base.
