7/2/18
We’ve seen Ramos multiple times this summer, with each performance being more impressive than the last. Obvious projectability at 6-foot-5, 170-pounds with room to add to his long-limbed frame. Works at a moderate pace with a funky/deceptive delivery. A crossfire guy that creates tough angles for hitters with his length and slot. The southpaw sits 83-85 mph with the fastball, working downhill with regular cut action. Pitch is heavier than velo suggests. Breaking ball is a sharp, slurvish type offering that he has good feel for in the low-70s. Scholarship level prospect.

6-foot-5, 170-pound. Long-limbed left-handed pitching prospect. Works at a moderate pace with a funky/deceptive delivery. Uses a long arm action through a high three-quarter slot. Fastball so 79 to 81 mph working downhill with regular cut in action. Slider tunnels well off of the fastball, the pitch has swing and miss potential with a tight cutter like action at 70 to 72 mph.

5/29/18
Ramos has a super projectable frame at 6-foot-5 with room to add. The combination of his length and slot create tough plane an angle for hitters to deal with. Fastball is heavy sitting in the 80-83 mph range throughout the outing. Spun a very sharp, 1/7 breaking ball that produced swing and miss all day. Big time upside for this interesting southpaw that should get scholarship attention this summer.
