Our Western New York All-Star Games at Brockport will be held this Sunday September 24, 2017, featuring 62 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the pitchers that will be in attendance and what to expect:

Western NY All-Star Games / Pitchers

Ian Evans RHP / OF / Wilson, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:16 POS:4 Future Games attendee that had two solid outings in Indiana. Wiry 6-foot-2 165 pound frame with a FB that ranges 83-86 MPH with late down action breaker.

 

Patrick McCann RHP / OF / St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:132 POS:31 Checks in at 6-foot-2 165 pounds with a traditional 3/4 arm slot. Sits 79-81 MPH working on a downward plane; 12-6 action to CB.

 

Troy Leibert RHP / 3B / Brockport , NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:62 POS:21 Full 5-foot-11 175 pound RHP that has touched 79 MPH. Local product with a quick arm.

 

Zach Monica LHP / 1B / Baldwinsville, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:146 POS:10 Had a clean outing at our Oswego event in August. The LHP has a lean, athletic frame with a repeatable delivery. FB hovers in the 78-80 MPH range. Throws strikes, easy effort.

 

Jacob Marshall RHP / OF / Baldwinsville , NY / 2019 First time attendee with a big time projectable frame at 6-foot-5 175 pounds. Also plays for the Baldwinsville Swarm.

 

Andrew Bernacki RHP / 1B / Pittsford Mendon, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:38 POS:14 Athletic 5-foot-9 165 pound RHP who has sat 76-78 MPH. Potential dual prospect as he brings some offensive tools to the plate.

 

Andrew Fairbrother 3B / RHP / Williamsville North, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:130 POS:14 Had a breakthrough outing at our St. Bonaventure event in July where pounded the zone siting 80-82, touching 83 MPH. Power pitcher's frame at 6-foot-2 175 pounds.

 

Adam Wojciechowski C / RHP / West Seneca East, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:93 POS:13 Will do it all on Sunday. Fluid actions at 6-foot-4 180 pounds. Works from a low slot, hiding the ball with a bit of a catcher's short arm. Was 76-78 MPH in July but wouldn't be shocked if he was better this time out.

 

Thomas Peltier LHP / Niagara Wheatfield , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:129 POS:9 Lean 6-foot-0 155 pound frame who's been up to 80 MPH. Life to arm with some movement to FB. Excited to see him again.

 

Jadon Masucci RHP / 3B / Webster Thomas, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:203 POS:48 Athletic 5-foot-10 165 pound RHP who works from a 3/4 slot. Mid 70's with 3 -pitch feel.

 

Justin Persse LHP / OF / Cicero-North Syracuse, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:80 POS:4 Low to mid 70's LHP who already has an above average feel to pitching. Impressive outing at Marist last week in the Eastern NY All-Star Games.

 

Adam Riter RHP / 3B / Orchard Park , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:136 POS:32 5-foot-11 197 pounds with a strong lower half. Up to 78 MPH this summer with a 12-6 CB at 64-68 MPH. Will also see some time at 3B.

 

Tyler Curtis OF / RHP / Greece Athena, NY / 2020 The first time attendee checks in at 6-foot-0 155 pounds and also plays for the Rochester Roughriders.

 

Nick Crandall OF / RHP / Olean, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:187 POS:31 Athletic 5-foot-9 145 pound RHP/OF that we have yet to see on the mound. Up to 80 MPH from the outfield.

 

Will Hearn LHP / 1B / St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute , NY / 2019 First time attendee that checks in at an impressive 6-foot-4 185 pounds who also plays for the Adpro Bills.

 

Bryce Jackson RHP / 3B / Jamestown , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:163 POS:38 Full frame at 6-foot-3 215 pounds. Mid to upper 70's with a shorter arm action from a 3/4 slot.

 

Charlie Carlone RHP / 1B / St. Josephs Collegiate Institute, NY / 2021 6-foot-5 200 pound RHP as a 2021. Intriguing player to follow this Sunday.

 

William Kindl OF / LHP / Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake , NY / 2020 First time attendee at 5-foot-9 140 pounds. Plays for the Northeast Pride.

Caleb Clements 3B / RHP / Prattsburgh, NY / 2021 Another young 2021 arm with some promise. Has been up to 76 MPH over the summer. Will also see time at 3B.

 

Kyle Wayman OF / RHP / Horseheads, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:54 POS:10 Athletic 6-foot-1 170 pound RHP/OF who will make his mound debut Sunday. Up to 79 MPH from the OF this summer.

 

Dominic Schmidt LHP / Kenmore West, NY / 2019 First time showcase attendee. Was 79-81 MPH at the East-West Battle back in July at Cortland. Throws strikes and changes speed.

 

Matthew Von Holten RHP / 3B / Shaker, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:103 POS:23 Strong bodied RHP at 6-foot-1 220 pounds with a durable lower half. Was 76-79 MPH last November, looking forward to seeing him again.

 

Danny Stapleton RHP / OF / Penfield, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:63 POS:22 5-foot-10 155 pound RHP who has been in the mid 70's with a low 3/4 slinger's approach on the mound. 3-pitch feel with some movement within the zone.

 

Michael Geiss RHP / 1B / CBA-Syracuse, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:188 POS:44 Frames out well at 6-foot-1 180 pounds. Crafty approach on the mound with one of the better breaking balls (Slider) of the summer.

 

Gage Ziehl 3B / RHP / Penfield, NY / 2021 Promising 2021 dual player who already is up to 80 MPH. Strong 5-foot-10 180 pound frame. Can swing it as well.

 

Andrew Treviso 1B / RHP / Fairport, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:193 POS:11 RHP at 5-foot-11 163 pounds, up to 77 MPH with a high arm slot delivery.

 

Chad Gartland SS / RHP / Irondequoit , NY / 2019 First time attendee at 6-foot-0 170 pounds. The RHP also plays for the Rochester Roughriders.

 

Ryan Stowell 1B / LHP / Elmira , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:190 POS:10 LHP at 6-foot-0 195 pounds with a low to mid 70's FB. Will also see time at 1B.
