5-foot-10, 160-pounds, lean build with room to build. 80 mph arm strength, with good use of lower half carry to the bag. Slightly open stance in the box, hands load back on approach to ball. Hands drop to the zone on swing, one handed finish. 76 mph bat-speed.
Lefty with athletic frame showing a mid 3/4 arm slot. Fastball shows arm side run with a sharpe 12/6 curve. Consistent in the zone working fast and showing good mound presence. Slider is effective with tight 3/9 rotation.

Kindl ran a 7.21-60, an improvement from February. Arm strength measured at 80-MPH from the outfield. Pitching-fastball ranging from 77-78, topping out at 78-MPH with a curve sitting at 70-MPH.
Northeast Pride Workout (February 10, 2018)
Kindl stands in at 5-foot-10, 160-pounds with an athletic frame. Ran a 7.32 – 60. Offensively- Lefty sets up in an open stance with little bat movement. Has a smooth trigger pre-pitch setting body up in a good hitting position. Could use more lower body rotation for power and make contact out in front of the plate more. Smooth swing with a level barrel path through the zone. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 MPH, tying his personal best set in September 2017. Defensively- Good approach and footwork to the baseball. Makes smooth movements throughout the crow hop to get behind the throw. Appropriate outfielder arm swing with accurate throws. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 78 MPH, tying his personal best set in September 2017. Pitching- Lefty sets up in the middle of the rubber utilizing a high leg kick into good separation. Smooth arm action into a good throwing position on foot strike with a high ¾ release point. Fastball range was 78-79 MPH and peaked at 79 MPH. Change up showed good sinking movement in the 72-73 MPH range. Slider had tight action and was 69-72 MPH. Talented 2020 graduate to keep an eye on.
Western NY All-Star Games (September 24, 2017)
Kindl stands in at 5-foot-9, 140-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Offensively- Lefty sets up slightly open with his feet just outside shoulder width. Shows a slight knee bend with an upright torso holding the bat above the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch, his trigger is a quick knee raise in to stride forward while his hands move back slightly into his hitting position. Utilizes good lower body rotation clearing his hips and using the whole-body frame in the process of the swing. Shows quick hands into the hitting zone with a level barrel path throughout into a high one-handed finish. Demonstrated good plate coverage with line drive ability up the middle and pull side. 2020 grad shows a clean, fluid swing with potential. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 MPH. Defensively- Good approach and footwork to get to the baseball. Shows a good crow hop and outfielder arm swing making aggressive strides towards the throwing target. Was accurate with the throws and moved well left/right. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 77 MPH. Pitching- Sets up on the right side of the rubber with a simple high leg kick above his hip crease. Good drive down with appropriate separation getting into a good throwing position with a high ¾ release point. Utilizes whole body when throwing and repeats delivery on different pitches. Fastball sat 77-79 MPH and peaked at 79 MPH with good arm side run. Curveball shows tight spin and is 69-70 MPH. Overall a high end 2020 prospect to keep an eye on. Will only get better with added strength and his continued development.
