Today we take a look at the final positional analysis from the Top Prospect Games as we look at the 45 infielders that went through the morning positional workout and game play afterwards. The talent on display in the infield was very impressive in every facet of the game. The athletic group posted some impressive numbers during the pro style workout and backed up those numbers in game play as well. From top to bottom, this event lived up to the pre event expectations and certainly did not disappoint. Let's take a look at the infielders:
Ayden Amis: SS/RHP, (2022) Andalusia, AL. 5-foot-9, 170-pound solid frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a leg kick. Uphill swing plane. He Barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Confident while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 80 mph; shows sure hands. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.31. Very advanced approach at the plate and the defensive skills are "plus" as well. really like this '22 grad.
Josh Bowerman: RHP/3B, (2022) Mars Hill Bible, AL. 6-foot-3, 195-pound sturdy frame. At the plate, Bowerman showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 92 mph. Sets up in a balanced stance with a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient. He showed some loud contact during his round. Opposite field approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 82 mph; had consistent footwork. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.55 in the 60-yard dash. Advanced on the mound, uses a quick arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Shows some effort in his delivery. Showed consistent balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-87 mph with a max of 88 mph; shows in the zone command. Throws a 11/5 curveball (71-72) that has tight action and low in the zone command. changeup (80-81) had in the zone accuracy. Physicality is evident in his game all the way around. Nice downhill action on the fastball.
William Burgreen: SS/2B, (2022) Decatur, AL. 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Burgreen showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a toe tap to initiate his swing. Bat speed is efficient and uses uphill swing plane. He found lots of barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. Confident while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; has sure hands and consistent feet. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.73. Continues to impress and has added some nice strength.
JD Chase: 1B/3B, (2022) East Cobb Academy, AL. 6-foot, 205-pound physical frame. During batting practice, the switch hitter had an exit velocity of 87 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick before his swing. Bat speed is above average and exhibits uphill swing plane. Found multiple barrels through his rounds. Pull side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 70 mph; showed a clean exchange, average feet and consistent hands. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. Clocked a 60 time of 8.14 at the event.
Will Cochran: 3B/RHP, (2021) West Point, AL. 6-foot-3, 190-pound mature frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Sets up in a balanced stance then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was some. He found multiple barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; has smooth feet and soft hands. Had consistent accuracy. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.26. On the mound, shows a quick arm action. Uses some effort in his delivery. a clean finish. Threw his fastball 79-80 mph and topped out at 80 mph; showed in the zone command. Throws a 11/5 curveball (68-69) with tight action. changeup has around the zone accuracy.
Jones Colgrove: SS/RHP, (2022) Demopolis, AL. 6-foot-2, 170-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Setup included balanced stance and a controlled load. Had level swing plane and above average bat speed. He found multiple barrels through his round. Pull side approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 82 mph; had smooth footwork, a fluid exchange and sure hands. Had decent accuracy. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.42. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 80-81 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had in the zone control and running action. Shows tight action on his 11/5 curveball (64-66). His changeup (71-72) shows command around the zone and fading action.
Griffin Cordova: 2B/SS, (2021) Pace, FL. 5-foot-11, 155-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 89 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Setup included wide stance and a quick load. Had level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 82 mph; shows sure hands and fluid feet. Showed a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the base. Recorded a 60 time of 7.05 at the event.
Grayson Dobbins: SS/2B, (2021) Vestavia Hills, AL. 5-foot-11, 155-pound solid frame. In the box, Dobbins recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Setup consisted of a smooth load and balanced stance. Bat speed is above average, shows upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws up to 82 mph; had consistent footwork and sure hands. Showed decent accuracy to the bases. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.23.
Eli Durnell: 3B/C, (2021) GAC, GA. 6-foot-2, 185-pound physical frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Sets up in a balanced stance with a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, and used level swing plane. He found some barrels in his rounds. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; shows sure hands and a clean exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.11.
Davis Gillespie: SS/RHP, (2022) Oak Mountain, AL. 6-foot-2, 185-pound physical frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 95 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Sets up in a balanced stance and had a short stride. Bat speed was explosive, and showed upward swing plane. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; had athletic footwork and consistent hands. Showed a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.16 at the event. Advanced on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action with good arm speed. Uses some effort in his delivery. Consistent balance point. Has a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 87-89 mph and topped out at 90 mph; shows in the zone control. Throws a 11/5 curveball (72-73) with late action and low in the zone command. He shows low in the zone accuracy on changeup (79-80). A true 2 way talent that has continued consistent development over the last year.
Jake Hammonds: SS/2B, (2022) Sylacauga, AL. 6-foot, 150-pound athletic frame. In the box, Hammonds clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up an athletic stance. Had some bat speed, level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels in his rounds. Base hit approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; has a clean exchange and soft hands. Had a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.06.
Cade Horton: 1B/3B, (2021) Bibb County, AL. 6-foot-2, 220-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 94 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a short stride just before his swing. Has explosive bat speed, upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Produced loud contact during the round. Pull side approach. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.7. The bat has some serious thunder to the pull side.
Andrew Hunt: 3B/RHP, (2022) Oak Mountain, AL. 5-foot-11, 180-pound. At the plate, Hunt's 94 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Setup included balanced stance and a smooth load. Bat speed was some, and displayed level swing plane. He barreled up some balls. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; had consistent hands and a natural exchange. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.28. On the mound, had a quick arm action. Uses some effort in his delivery. Has consistent balance point. Displayed a clean finish Threw his fastball 78-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had sinking action with heavy movement. Shows tight action on his 11/5 curveball (65-67).
Colby Hutto: SS/RHP, (2021) West Morgan, AL. 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Hutto displayed an exit velocity of 92 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Starts in an athletic stance. Has simple swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 88 mph; showed a clean exchange, soft hands and athletic feet. Had consistent accuracy to the bag and a very quick arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.6. Confident on the mound, has quick arm speed and throws from a high ¾ arm angle. Uses some effort in his delivery. a clean finish. Threw his fastball 84-85 mph with a max of 86 mph; showed running action with heavy movement. Had control low in the zone and swing and miss action on his 12/6 curveball (69-70). Hutto has really exploded of late as evidenced by the numbers he posted at the event. Shouldn't be uncommitted too much longer.
Kenneth Ingram: 2B/OF, (2022) Holtville, AL. 5-foot-10, 160-pound solid frame. At the plate, Ingram clocked an exit velocity of 73 mph. Setup includes athletic stance and a controlled load. Had level swing plane, and his bat speed was efficient. He showed tons of loud contact during the round. Gap to gap approach. Smooth while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; has consistent hands and a quick exchange. Had decent accuracy. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.97. Hard nosed solid player that has some strength in the hands at the plate.
Tucker Jones: 3B/C, (2021) Leeds, AL. 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 89 mph. Setup was comprised of balanced stance and a controlled stride. Had some bat speed. He found multiple barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 70 mph; had athletic footwork, sure hands and a natural exchange. Showed decent accuracy to the bases. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.3.
Preston Junkin: LHP/1B, (2021) Brooks, AL. 6-foot-2, 210-pound physical frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 94 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Used a controlled stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was quick, and had level swing plane. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; had consistent footwork and a fluid exchange. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. Clocked a 60 time of 7.54 at the event. On the mound, displays quick arm speed. Uses easy effort in his delivery. Showed consistent balance point. Shows a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-78 mph with a max of 79 mph; shows running action and in the zone control. His curveball (61-62) has control low in the zone and sweeping action.
Jared Kaplan: SS/RHP, (2022) Chelsea, AL. 5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Sets up in an athletic stance with a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient and uses level swing plane. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 83 mph; showed sure hands, consistent feet and a natural exchange. Showed a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.32 at the event.
Noah Lam: SS/2B, (2021) Grissom, AL. 5-foot-10, 170-pound solid frame. During batting practice, Lam showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 91 mph. Has a balanced stance. Bat speed was some. He barreled up multiple balls. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 78 mph; shows sure hands. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.07. Steady MIF that can spray the ball to all fields and moves very well laterally.
Landon Leake: 2B/RHP, (2021) Helena, AL. 5-foot-9, 178-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 94 mph. Uses a leg kick to initiate his swing. Had efficient bat speed and uphill swing plane. He found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 84 mph; has athletic feet and soft hands. Had consistent accuracy to the bag and a consistent arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.85. On the mound, had a short arm action with quick arm speed. Showed some effort in his delivery. Shows a clean finish. Threw his fastball 84-85 mph with a max of 86 mph; has a heavy movement. His slider (74-76) shows in the zone command and tight action. His changeup (76-77) had fading action. No doubt a high level uncommitted '21 in the state.
Jakob Lewis: 2B/OF, (2021) Sparkman, AL. 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the switch hitter's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a leg kick before his swing. Had quick bat speed, level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels during his rounds. Base hit approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; had quick fluid footwork, consistent hands and a fluid exchange. Showed decent accuracy. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.4. Looking for a "plus" skill, look no farther than the 6.40 60 yard dash but he has plenty of other nice attributes on the field.
McCollum Mansfield: RHP/SS, (2022) Oak Mountain, AL. 5-foot-10, 160-pound solid frame. In the box, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 80 mph. Started in a balanced stance. Bat speed was above average, and used level swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his rounds. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, made throws up to 78 mph; shows athletic footwork and a fluid exchange. Showed decent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53. On the mound, threw his fastball 79-82 mph with a max of 83 mph; showed in the zone command. His 11/5 curveball (62-65) had tight action.
Jay McCants: 2B/OF, (2022) Mobile Christian, AL. 5-foot-10, 155-pound proportional frame. At the plate, Mccants best exit velocity was 86 mph. Started in a tall stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed is quick, has simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 76 mph; shows sure hands and a fluid exchange. Showed a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.04. Sure handed MIF.
Andrew McElvey: 2B/SS, (2021) Oneonta, AL. 5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 73 mph. Sets up a balanced stance. Has simple swing plane and average bat speed. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Base hit approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 70 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange and athletic footwork. Showed decent accuracy to the bases. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.75.
Brodie Morrow: 1B/3B, (2022) Hartselle, AL. 6-foot, 235-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 93 mph. Sets up in an open stance with a quick load. Had upward swing plane and explosive bat speed. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; showed consistent hands. Had consistent accuracy. Recorded a 60 time of 7.57 at the event. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph with a max of 82 mph; showed running action and in the zone control. Throws a 11/5 curveball (71-73). changeup shows around the zone accuracy.

Had control low in the zone and tight action on his curveball (69-70). He shows fading action on his changeup (72-73).
Taylor Patterson: SS/3B, (2022) Homewood, AL. 5-foot-10, 161-pound solid frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Has a short stride before his swing. Has quick bat speed. Barreled up multiple balls during his round. Base hit approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; had consistent footwork and consistent hands. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.21.
Jacob Peters: SS/RHP, (2021) Helena, AL. 5-foot-11, 160-pound mature frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Setup is comprised of athletic stance and a leg kick. Had efficient bat speed and level swing plane. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Line drive approach. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 87 mph; showed smooth feet and sure hands. Had consistent accuracy. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.91. Advanced on the mound, used a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Consistent balance point. Displayed a clean finish Threw his fastball 86-87 mph with a max of 88 mph; had running action and glove side command. Throws his 10/4 curveball (78-79) with tight action and around the zone command. Throws his 10/4 curveball (78-79) with command around the zone and tight action. Had fading action and glove side control on his changeup (78-79). He's a winner and knows how to compete. The question is, what does he do best?
Cade Prestegard: 3B/RHP, (2022) Huntsville, AL. 6-foot-3, 175-pound physical frame. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a wide balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride to start his swing. Bat speed was efficient, and showed level swing plane. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 74 mph; has soft hands and a natural exchange. Showed decent accuracy. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.41. On the mound, had good arm speed. Uses some effort in his delivery. Showed consistent balance point. a clean finish. Threw his fastball 80-81 mph with a max of 82 mph; had a in the zone control that shows heavy movement. Throws a 11/5 curveball (70-73) that has tight action. Showed fading action and control around the zone on his changeup (73-74). Big LH bat, had two nice AB's during game play. Projects at a high level.
Davis Randolph: 3B/RHP, (2022) Northridge, AL. 6-foot-4, 170-pound solid frame. At the plate, Randolph showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Setup included balanced stance and a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient. He found multiple barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; had consistent footwork and a clean exchange. Showed consistent accuracy. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 78-79 mph and topped out at 81 mph; shows in the zone command. Throws a 11/5 curveball (67-68) that has low in the zone command. His changeup (71-72) had command around the zone and fading action. Physical 2 way guy that is a good runner and shows clean mechanics on the bump.
Brody Samples: RHP/3B, (2022) Sardis, AL. 5-foot-9, 162-pound slim frame. During batting practice, Samples had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Setup consisted of balanced stance and a compact load. Bat speed was some, and used level swing plane. Barreled up some balls throughout the round. Base hit approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; has soft hands and fluid feet. Had consistent accuracy. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.51. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 79-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had in the zone control. Threw a 11/5 curveball (70-73) that showed late action and low in the zone control.
Parker Sessions: SS/2B, (2021) Enterprise, AL. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Had a balanced stance. Has some bat speed. Through the round he found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph; has smooth feet and sure hands. Showed consistent accuracy. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.79.
Mayson Slaughter: 3B/2B, (2021) Jasper, AL. 5-foot-8, 185-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Starts in a balanced stance. Bat speed is raw and exhibits upward swing plane. Was able to create some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Pull side approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; has a clean exchange, raw hands and quick feet. Had decent accuracy to the base with a quick arm action. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.69 60-yard dash.
Sean Smith: 1B/3B, (2021) Piedmont, AL. 6-foot-2, 225-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, Smith displayed an exit velocity of 95 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a quick stride. Has quick bat speed, upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. In his round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; has soft hands and consistent feet. Had consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.54 at the event. Love the power in the barrel of the recent Wallace (Hanceville) commit.
Cameron Snypes: 1B/OF, (2021) UMS-Wright, AL. 6-foot-3, 210-pound mature frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a quick stride. Has quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Had a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 74 mph; has a clean exchange and soft hands. Had consistent accuracy. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.78. A '21 LH bat that will be a nice addition to an offensive lineup in years to come. Stays on plane very well through the hitting zone.
Zane Stokes: SS/2B, (2022) Mobile Christian, AL. 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in a tall stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride before his swing. Bat speed was some, and displayed level swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his rounds. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 80 mph; had a clean exchange, athletic footwork and sure hands. Showed consistent accuracy. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.88.
Jack Thompson: SS/2B, (2022) Marbury, AL. 6-foot-1, 152-pound. During batting practice, Thompson had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Sets up in an athletic stance and used a controlled stride. Bat speed is some and has level swing plane. He showed some loud contact during his round. Pull side approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 74 mph; showed athletic feet and consistent hands. Showed decent accuracy. Recorded a time of 7.3 in the 60-yard dash.
Dylan Tiede: SS/RHP, (2022) Madison Academy, AL. 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame. In the box, Tiede clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. Setup consists of a controlled load and balanced stance. Bat speed was some, and had level swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his round. Base hit approach. Noah Toney: 3B/RHP, (2022) Florence, AL. 6-foot-2, 190-pound physical frame. During batting practice, Toney displayed an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Started in a crouched stance then used a toe tap. Bat speed is quick, uses upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; has consistent feet and soft hands. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.43. Confident on the mound, showed a quick arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-86 mph with a max of 86 mph; shows low in the zone command and sinking action. His 11/5 curveball (74-75) had in the zone command and hard action. His changeup (79-80) had fading action and low in the zone control.
McGwire Turner: 3B/SS, (2022) Helena, AL. 6-foot-2, 178-pound solid frame. During batting practice, Turner displayed an exit velocity of 95 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Setup is comprised of balanced stance and a short stride. Had quick bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 83 mph; has a fluid exchange, consistent feet and sure hands. Had a quick arm action and consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.07.
Brendan Wall: OF/RHP, (2022) Auburn, AL. 6-foot-1, 205-pound mature frame. During batting practice, Wall showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 94 mph. Setup consisted of a smooth load and balanced stance. Bat speed is quick. He Barreled up lots of balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 86 mph; shows sure hands and a natural exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot and decent accuracy to the base. Clocked a 60 time of 7.22 at the event. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph and topped out at 86 mph; had in the zone command and running action. 11/5 curveball (67-68).
JT Weisberg: 2B/SS, (2021) John Carroll Catholic, AL. 6-foot-2, 155-pound solid frame. During batting practice, Weisbergs best exit velocity was 86 mph. Has an athletic stance. Bat speed was efficient, and displayed level swing plane. He found multiple barrels through his rounds. Line drive approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 76 mph; had athletic footwork and soft hands. Showed a high ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the bag. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.85.
Brandon Williams: RHP/3B, (2022) Elberta, AL. 5-foot-7, 170-pound. At the plate, Williams recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Sets up a balanced stance. Has some bat speed and level swing plane. He created some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Base hit approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; had a clean exchange and consistent hands. Had decent accuracy to the base and a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.83 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, has good arm speed and a high ¾ arm angle. Used some effort in his delivery. Slider (67-71 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 81-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph; has sinking action and in the zone command. His sharp curveball has around the zone command. He shows fading action on his changeup (73-74).
Cooper Williamson: SS/2B, (2022) Huntsville, AL. 5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Williamson recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Sets up in an athletic stance with a smooth load. Bat speed was efficient, displayed level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph; had a clean exchange and consistent hands. Had a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the base. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.9.
