5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 73 mph. Sets up a balanced stance. Has simple swing plane and average bat speed. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Base hit approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 70 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange and athletic footwork. Showed decent accuracy to the bases. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.75.
8/24/19
Athletic ‘21 grad that started with an even stance from the right side of the plate. The bat path was level through the hitting zone and showed a pullside approach. Could add some more pop off of the bat by getting the hands back to the “launch” position. Solid fundamental offensive approach. On the dirt, he did a nice job with the feet before the ball reached the glove and he did a nice job presenting the glove out in front. Showed nice flexibility in the hips.
