(2022) has been a consistent performer in the showcase setting over the past year, and that bat showed up in a big way in Monday night’s contest. At 6-1, 210 pounds, Wall possesses some broad/wide shoulders with defined physicality packed into that frame. Hitting from the right side, Wall had the biggest day out of any hitter from down in the bottom of the order. He singled in each of his first two at-bats, but came up in the later innings and delivered again for his offense. Wall caught a hanging breaking ball over the middle of the plate, and stayed short & used some strong, quick hands & arms to muscle it into the LCF gap to bring home two runs for a 2 RBI double. He finished the day 3-4 with two singles, a double, and four RBI’s on the night.

6-foot-1, 205-pound physical frame. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.16. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 95 mph. Begins in an open stance with a compact load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, used simple upward swing plane and a front foot finish. He showed some loud contact during the round. Up the middle approach. Smooth in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 86 mph; has consistent footwork, and a quick exchange. Used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. On the mound, used an over-the-top arm angle and a quick arm action while showing above average arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Has athletic balance point. Has an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 84-85 mph with a max of 86 mph; showed consistent command and sinking action. His 11/5 curveball (70-71) showed swing and miss action and consistent control. His changeup (76-77) showed arm side control and gradual action.

6-foot-1, 205-pound mature frame. During batting practice, Wall showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 94 mph. Setup consisted of a smooth load and balanced stance. Bat speed is quick. He Barreled up lots of balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 86 mph; shows sure hands and a natural exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot and decent accuracy to the base. Clocked a 60 time of 7.22 at the event. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph and topped out at 86 mph; had in the zone command and running action. 11/5 curveball (67-68)

Nice spin rate (low 2000’s) fastball that was up to 83 mph with late movement. He shows a short, compact arm action and the ball comes out of the hand easily. Did a nice job of repeating his delivery pitch after pitch and the breaking ball took nice shape as a slider. The change up was his best secondary pitch that showed late tumble and had the same action as his fastball. Physical bat that starts slightly open with the feet with the hands set high. Does a nice job of getting ready to hit early and showed a mostly level swing path. The hands stayed inside the ball which resulted in a short, compact approach. Was 89 mph off the tee and did a nice job using the middle of the field. Nice arm strength of 83 mph during OF work. Nice looking ‘22 prospect.
