Mason has a long projectable frame with lean strength. The body has cleaned up well and strength is present in actions. Played center field on the day and hit in the back half of the order. Mason has driven in a lot of runs for Godwin this year and this day was just another example of his production. Had a two out at bat in the first inning where he got a 1-0 elevated fastball and drove it to deep right field for a bases clearing double. Later on worked a two strike count and got another elevated pitch that he muscled into right center field for another three RBI double. Wider square stance, strides forward to a wide base, and a level path to contact. Hands finish across, barrel is quick out of the zone, and is top hand dominate in his swing. Lower half gets stuck at times, but his physical strength allows him to display his raw power.
