In late-July, over 30 players took part in our Top Prospect Games III showcase at Bryant & Stratton College in Virginia Beach. Today, we continue our detailed breakdown of that event with the primary outfielders:

 

 

 

Traylor DuVal RHP / OF / JR Tucker, VA / 2021 DuVal is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a leaned back balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, some strength at contact point, slightly uphill swing path, showed a pull approach with some power present, exit velocity was 88. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 81. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash.

 

 

Bobby Fleming OF / RHP / Langley , VA / 2022 Fleming is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has some strength present in the lower half and a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and very quick to the ball, some whip in his bat, strong at contact point with extension up through ball, slightly uphill swing path, showed a good approach using the whole field with easy doubles power present to all fields, exit velocity was 96. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with soft hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action, position velocity was 86. Ran a 6.91 60 yard dash.

 

 

Josiah Harrison OF / RHP / Trinity Episcopal , VA / 2022 Harrison is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, some whip in his bat, strong at contact point with good extension through ball, slightly uphill swing path, showed a pull preference with the ability to work gap to gap, power present to pull side, exit velocity was 95. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action, position velocity was 86. Ran a 6.93 60 yard dash.

 

 

Neo Klemish OF / RHP / Grafton, VA / 2022 Klemish is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly leaned back balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, some strength at contact point with some extension through ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach working gap to gap, some doubles power present, exit velocity was 88. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 74. Ran a 7.09 60 yard dash.

 

 

Garrett Mason OF / RHP / Mills E. Godwin , VA / 2023 Mason is 6-3 with a lankier athletic frame that has some strength present and a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller relaxed open stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, some strength at contact point, uphill line drive swing path, showed a pull approach with some doubles power present that way, exit velocity was 90. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 81. Ran a 7.64 60 yard dash.

 

 

Joshua Prinzel OF / RHP / Tabb, VA / 2021 Prinzel is 6-2 with a strong athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, very strong at contact point, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a pull approach with easy power present to all fields, exit velocity was 102. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 80.

 

 

Jaylon Robinson OF / SS / Colonial Forge, VA / 2021 Robinson is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open taller relaxed stance, low leg kick stride on line, no load. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, very short and quick to the ball, strength at contact point, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach using the whole field, ball carries some in the gaps, exit velocity was 85. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 84. Showed versatility working out in the infield where his velocity was 78. Ran a 6.81 60 yard dash.

 

 

Jameson Spence OF / RHP / Nansemond Suffolk, VA / 2022 Spence is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back and up. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, some strength at contact with extension through the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach using the whole field, easy doubles power to all fields with chance to add more, exit velocity was 93. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 80. Ran a 6.83 60 yard dash.

 

 

Jordan Tyler RHP / OF / Grassfield , VA / 2022 Tyler is 6-4 with a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, loads back to a bar. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, some strength at contact with extension through the ball, slightly uphill swing path, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, some power is present to pull side, exit velocity was 91. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 83. Ran a 7.24 60 yard dash.
