Throughout the West Virginia high school baseball regular season we will be posting a Power 5 in each classification. Updates will be made for Class AAA on Mondays, AA on Tuesdays and A on Wednesdays. Check back frequently at PBR West Virginia to follow team and individual results from the previous week. Summary:
Hurricane takes over our top spot by moving to 8-0 on the strength of a three win week including a 9-5 victory over, Week one #4, George Washington. Offensively, Nathaniel Dunham led the way by going 6-for-11 while driving in 8 runs. Mound innings were spread out with the Redskins getting solid contributions up and down it's deep pitching staff.

Summary:
Our initial #1 drops to number two in week two thanks, in large part, to a late week loss to Greenbrier East. The Red Dragons now stand at 4-2 on the year following a 2-1 week. Offensively Noah Cummings put together a 4-for-8, 3 double, 3 RBI week. On the hill, Chayce Matheny and Nick Loftis were dealing. The duo's combined line read 14.1 IP, 1 ER, 2 W, 17 SO.
