7/5/18 On the mound, the 6-foot-3 185 pound, right-hander works out of a mid 3/4 arm slot. Arm action is long and loose with demonstrated ability to repeat low effort delivery. There is balance and rhythm. Fastball sat 77-79 touching 81 mph and was true. Curveball was commanded at 66-69 showing 11/5 shape and moderate depth. Changeup at 67-68 was thrown with reasonable sell and arm side fade/sink. Overall presentation makes Ritchie a continue follow in the Class of 2020 with velocity bump likely to come.

2/24/18 Initiates swing from open set up with knee to knee leg kick and stride to slightly closed. Separation and weight shift are adequate. Passive hip turn and intermittent early front knee lock creates intermittent uphill swing path. Balance and rhythm are solid and athleticism is evident. A bat exit velocity of 81 mph was recorded.

On the mound works out of mid 3/4 arm slot with excellent balance, rhythm and ability to repeat. FB at 77-80 mph was commanded with subtle sink and run. CB sat 69-71 showing 11-4 shape with sharp, short, late break. CH at 71-72 mph was commanded with excellent downward action and thrown with solid sell. Overall, mechanics, long levers, athleticism and quality secondary offerings make interesting follow in class of 2020.
