There is balance and rhythm. Fastball sat 77-79 touching 81 mph and was true. Curveball was commanded at 66-69 showing 11/5 shape and moderate depth. Changeup at 67-68 was thrown with reasonable sell and arm side fade/sink. Overall presentation makes Ritchie a continue follow in the Class of 2020 with velocity bump likely to come.
2/24/18 Initiates swing from open set up with knee to knee leg kick and stride to slightly closed. Separation and weight shift are adequate. Passive hip turn and intermittent early front knee lock creates intermittent uphill swing path. Balance and rhythm are solid and athleticism is evident. A bat exit velocity of 81 mph was recorded.
