Aaron is a Virginia Tech commit and is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller relaxed open stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load down and back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, very quick to the ball, uphill line drive swing, has some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, some power present in the gaps with a chance to grow into more, exit velocity was 87. In the infield, good feet, rounds ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands. Works through the ball to a quick clean echange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, infield velocity was 76. Ran a 7.07 60 yard dash.

Landon Altizer OF / OF / Cave Spring , VA / 2023

Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, level line drive swing, has some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, some power present in the gaps, exit velocity was 89. Ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and easier effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and slightly closed, lands slightly closed with an athletic finish with some recoil. Fastball was 83-86, with some downward plane and some late run to armside that also had depth down in the zone. Change-up was 75-77 with good armspeed and some late fade.

John Barrett RHP / 3B / Jefferson Forest, VA / 2023

Barrett is 5-11 with a big strong athletic frame that has some projection left to it.
