Foster is a Mount St. Mary's commit. He has a tall long lankier athletic frame that has some strength present and a lot of projection left to it. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a longer loose quick arm action, throws with some effort. Drop and drive delivery, strides out mostly on line and swings into an open landing, a bit of fall off and recoil in his finish. Fastball was 83-85, touching 86 a few times in the early innings. Pitch gets downward angle and some boring action to his armside. Also threw a slider that was 74-75 with late tight 10/4 break to it. Primary offspeed pitch was a curveball with 11/5 to 12/6 break, good armspeed late sharp break to the pitch. Struck out 10 in the game, getting strikeouts on multiple pitches. Showed control and was around the zone with all three pitches. Has a chance to fill out his frame and continue to add velocity and has the arsenal to project to being a starter at the next level and being able to carry that workload and work deep in games.
