We are on the eve of our fourth Campus Series event as we head to Marist College tomorrow.  We'll have 45 players in attendance as we continue to "shape the state". Here's some players to keep an eye on:

 

Joseph Simmonds OF / 3B / John Jay-East Fishkill, NY / 2018 Rankings  State Rank:47 POS:7 Above average arm from the outfield with 6.98 speed and short, explosive stroke.

 

Philip Zollo SS / RHP / Westhill , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:108 POS:27 Wiry, strong middle infielder with fast-twitch actions at the plate and in the field.

 

Billy Sullivan C / OF / Nyack , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:121 POS:17 Scrappy backstop that we've yet to see in a showcase setting. Looking forward to seeing him get after it.

 

Joseph Ragone SS / RHP / Stepinac, NY / 2018 Rankings  State Rank:190 POS:29 Balanced approach at the plate, clean glove and offers some pitchability on the bump.

 

Ryan Ragone RHP / C / Stepinac, NY / 2018 Rankings  State Rank:114 POS:34 Physical 6-foot-2 220 pound left-hand hitting C/RHP who, like his brother will show well as a dual player. Was up to 82 MPH on the mound last fall.

 

Brendan Miller OF / SS / Penfield , NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:30 POS:4 Athletic outfielder who runs a 6.84 60 with a balanced plan of attack at the plate. 2020 grad with a positive upside.

 

Pierce Hendershot 2B / 3B / Tioga Central, NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:41 POS:1 The super utility player looks to continue his run of good outings at our Campus Series events. Has been top 3 on the leaderboard in positional velocity and exit velocity at prior three events. Future Games attendee.

 

Nicholas Fraterrigo RHP / OF / Ardsley , NY / 2019 Rankings  State Rank:32 POS:6 Like Hendershot, Fraterrigo will also be a Futures Games attendeee and using tomorrow as a nice tune up for Indiana. We've seen him up to 86 MPH recently with a projectable 6-foot-2 185 pound frame.

 

Nicholas Fanelli RHP / 3B / New Paltz, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:14 POS:8 Only a 2020 but a veteran on the PBR circuit. Will be 78-80 MPH on the mound with a knuckle ball as part of his secondary arsenal.

 

Erik Dusseldorp LHP / 1B / Roscoe , NY / 2018 Rankings  State Rank:170 POS:10 Dusseldorp, also a veteran on the PBR circuit will hover the upper 70 MPH range, looking to clip 80 MPH with a much improved slider. Gets outs.

 

Christian Diorio RHP / 1B / Marlboro, NY / 2020 Rankings  State Rank:42 POS:16 Promising 2020 dual player who swung the bat well indoors back in February and moves well around the bag. Looking forward to seeing him in mid-summer form on the mound as well.

 

Michael Chiarito RHP / 3B / John S. Burke Catholic, NY / 2018 RHP on the rise with with a polished breaking ball. Had a solid spring and will look to continue to roll it into Tuesday's event.
