June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

Peak Fastball: 84
Fastball Range:
81-82
CB/SL Range
: 71-72 & Change: 73
Large body size. Very fluid windup. Low effort. Ball comes up very free and easy. Dramatic hand break up to a high 3/4 arm slot. More velocity to come. Natural glide down the mound with great control of his body. Moves the ball up and down/side to side. Average down action with some arm side run. Tends to finish more upright at times but shows ability to correct. CH showed great downward action and movement. CB is inconsistent but can develop with average spin.

Future Games (August 2-5, 2017)

Prototypical pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-2 185 pounds with broad shoulders. Pitching- Simple mechanics, short stride, long arm action with low effort. Over the top Fastball sits 83-85, touched one off at 88 MPH. FB features nasty arm-side run. Change up was 74-75 MPH with some depth. Interesting prospect with more velo in the tank.
Campus Series-Marist (July 25, 2017)
Fraterrigo checks in at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds with a strong, tall, athletic frame. Pitching- Has a collegiate pitcher build with a strong lower body and efficient upper body mechanics that will get better with teaching. Righty sets up with his feet shoulder width apart in a relaxed position. Utilizes a short side step to start into a high leg raise above the hip crease. Creates good separation driving forward when his lead leg starts to move towards target while his arm gets good loose action into his high 3/4 release point. Efficient hitting the strike zone keeping the ball low and hitting his target. Peak fastball was recorded at 87 MPH with a range of 84-86 MPH with arm side run. Curveball has tight spin showing 12/6 action that can be thrown for a strike. Recorded 67-68 MPH. Change up shows good arm side break with a proper velocity difference being recorded at 74-75 MPH. Was consistent hitting secondary pitches for strikes and getting hitters to bite at the pitch.
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Athletic 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-hander with a projectable pitcher’s frame. Pitching - clean arm action, uses height to get downward plane on fastball at 81-83 MPH, natural late run, stays down in the zone and gets late sink, maintains release point and motion on change-up at 73-74 MPH, throws curveball at 70-73 MPH for strikes, intriguing potential. Offensively - out of an upright stance shows the ability to maintain a level bat path through the zone, uses little lower body engagement for an exit velocity of 75 MPH, counter rotation between upper and lower torso will easily generate power, more in the tank.
