12/12/15 - 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, line drive type hitter with ability to use all fields, short/compact swing, impressed in BP with ability to consistently square the baseball, 85 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran 4.59 down the line. Shows soft hands defensively, moves well laterally in both directions, made some accurate throws from a high-3/4 release, 76 mph velocity across the infield (78 previous best), solid defender at the 2B position. On the mound, 5-foot-9, 165-pound RHP has shown more velocity at previous events, interesting sidearm delivery, fastball sat 69-70 mph with significant arm-side run and sink, shows feel for a sweeping 58-59 mph curveball that he does a good job of staying on top of from the sidearm slot, changeup has potential at 62-65 mph and mimics fastball action though he struggled to locate it for strikes on this occasion (have seen it much better at previous events). Would expect to see Redmon’s velocity back up to where we have seen it previously as we get closer to the season.
2/14/15 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound prospect has added 10 pounds to frame, right-handed hitter hits from a slightly open stance, has a leg kick trigger, short/compact swing, line drive type hitter that uses all fields well, maintains good balance through swing, ran 7.30 60-yard dash, 85 mph exit velocity. Defensively, shows soft hands, good footwork, plays through the ball well, good lateral movement, arm looks looser and more athletic than in the past, showed a personal best 78 mph arm strength across the infield with high-3/4 release, good body control, continues to make overall improvements to game. As a pitcher, has converted from an over-hand pitcher to a side-arm pitcher, fastball sat 75-79 mph touching 80 on one occasion and showed some arm-side run and sink, 62-66 mph curveball displayed gradual sweeping action, changeup proved to be his best current secondary pitch from the sidearm slot at 69-72 mph with very good sink and fade through the zone, the drop down to a sidearm pitcher makes him an interesting prospect on the mound with the potential to be very effective as he continues to develop the curveball.
2/16/14 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound prospect, room to fill in frame, works through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 73-75 mph with some arm-side run, throws a 59-62 mph curveball with gradual 11/5 action, changeup is best present secondary pitch thrown with fastball arm speed at 67-70 mph with good run and sink, has shown some increase in velocity since last summer.
2/16/14 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound prospect, shows soft hands defensively, feet work fluidly with good lateral movement, quick exchange, accurate arm across the infield with a top velocity of 74 mph (up to 78 at previous event).  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup, short stride, displays very good balance, short and compact swing with line drive production, ran a 7.25 60 yard dash, showed increase in tee exit velocity to 86 mph, solid prospect will should continue to show gains.
8/25/13 - 5-foot-8, 145-pound prospect, displays good hands with an accurate arm at 78 mph across the infield, made nice play on slow roller in game action showing good body control.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup, no stride, good balance, line drive type hitter, showed some bat speed with 84 mph tee exit velocity, went 0-for-4 in game play, ran 7.22 60, young prospect with some tools that should continue to develop.   On the mound, throws from a high ¾ arm slot, consistently throws strikes, fastball sat 70-72 mph touching 73, curveball sat 59-63 mph with gradual 11/5 action, will continue to add velocity with added physical strength.
