2/16/16 - Fastball was 86-94, pitched at 90-91, flashed a plus curve ball. Showed the makings of a good slider. Not a lot of projection but has now stuff with the makings of a good 4 pitch mix. Command comes and goes. Needs to be a bit more consistent for potential starter in ML. Otherwise, would be a bullpen guy in ML.

2/2/16 - Very advanced guy with now stuff. Mature body with now strength. Delivery gets a bit rotational and occ pulls off line, but his best stuff is when he stays through the ball. 3 innings of work. FB 90-95 mph. Showed plus CV at 73-75 mph. SL was a short tight downer that breaks 2 planes. Some feel for the CHG. Bulldog type competitor. Proving why he will be a high draft.
6/20/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot-1, 205 pound lefty with a thick stocky strong body. Quick arm with a high ¾ slot. Hides ball in back. Short stride with consistent release over front side. Lands open. Occasionally pulls off line. Falls off mound. Fast ball has tailing action at 88-92 mph. Curve ball is a big breaking downer at 71-73 mph. Change up is 77-81 mph. Could be a 2016 draft.
2/27/15 - Miami commit. 6 feet,190 pounds lefty with a strong, athletic, and well put together body. Fluid delivery with a high leg raise. Stays balanced and over his back side well. He lands in line and takes ball out in line with a high ¾ arm slot that is compact. He hides the ball well. His fastball has arm side run that he'll work from 83-86 mph early in the count and brings it up to 87-90 mph when he wants to. He has a ¾ curve that breaks two planes and has good depth at 68-71 mph. Very good change up at 74-76 mph with the same arm speed as his fastball and has late life. Keeps hitters off balance by throwing his changeup in all counts. Throws all three pitches for strikes.
Thick strong lower half on a mature body. Loose quick arm at a high 3/4 slot with some downward tilt to FB at 86-91 mph. Good rhythm and balance in delivery. Stays over the rubber. Hides ball in back. Change up is an above avg secondary pitch with good arm speed at 76-77 mph. Has good fade to it. Curve ball has 3/4 tilt with good depth and was a swing and miss pitch to left handed hitters at 72-73 mph. Slider was a shorter 3/4 curve ball with more velocity at 78-79 mph. Polished pitcher with good stuff and threw a lot of strikes. Good student. Could become a 2016 draft.
