After two days, we’ve complete 10 rounds of the 2016 MLB Draft. The second day usually starts with intrigue and goes down from there, as teams start picking up players that will sign for low bonuses in the sixth or seventh rounds. Just four high school prospects were taken in the seventh to 10th rounds. However, the Phillies kicked the day off by picking another high-profile prep. SS Cole Stobbe (Millard West HS, NE) and was No. 36 in the PBR Draft 100. Philadelphia took the Arkansas recruit with the first pick of the third round. Stobbe is know for hitting hard line drives, making use of his quick hands at the plate. He has solid tools across the board, but will likely shift off of shortstop at the next level.
