10/20/18 - UCF commit. 6-foot-3, 170-pound left-handed pitcher, lanky, athletically-built. Showed a high-level of pitchability with his fastball-changeup combination that garnered five strikeouts in two innings. Fastball worked 84-86 with some run and sink to the armside. Changeup, swing and miss type pitch, late life, 74-76, commanded low in the zone.

10/12/18 - Central Florida commit. 6-foot-3, 190-pound, left-handed pitcher, long, lanky frame, wiry build. Loose, easy arm action of a ¾ slot, creates angles. Drop and drive delivery, stays tall, lands toe-closed pivoting to open. Fastball worked 85-87. Slider, 75-76, sweeping action, got swing and misses with. Changeup, 75-76, fade action.

2/17/18- Central Florida recruit. The long, lanky lefty held his on on a night loaded with upperclassman talent. He has a loose, whippy arm and the fastball work 86-88 mph early dropping off a bit later. He also showed a tight slider at 74-76 mph. The frame has a ton of room to add strength and the arm really works loose and quick from a 3/4 slot.

05/08/17- Committed to Central Florida.

04/25/17- Patteson, who was impressive in a start earlier in the year, came out with more velocity but a bit less command. He would work 85-86 mph with the fastball, touching 87 and 88 mph. He showed occasional feel for a changeup at 74-75 mph and a slider with decent shape at 74 mph. Patteson would allow a walk followed by the sacrifice fly by Rivera and the RBI triple by Greenfield that would lead to the 2-0 win for Jensen Beach.

3/20/17- The high-waisted left hander has a frame you like to see in a pitcher. He is lean with wide shoulders. The arm works, although it is a bit short in the back. He tends to open his front side early and missed arm side with the fastball. Although there are some things that can be cleaned up, the arm works and the fastball worked 82/85 mph with potential to make a big jump. He showed a curveball at 71-74 mph and also showed a feel for a changeup at 70-71 mph with a good armspeed. Overall, despite some mechanical things, the arm and projectability is there to make him a high follow.
