David Luethje. Luethje led the way for Vero Beach both on the mound and at the plate going 6-1 with a .355 average. He is extremely talented and athletic and could be both a No 1 starter and a middle of the order hitter.

OUTLOOK
Vero Beach return their top two pitchers from a Region Semi-Final run in 2017 They will look again to David Luethje and Hunter Cooley to carry the way on the mound again.  2019 LHP Hunter Patteson will also be a big contributor and has the tools to be dominate on the mound as well. Betwenn these three players, they return 20 of the 23 wins from last season.The offense will have to step up, but three front line starters bring Vero Beach in the No 22 spot in the Preseason Power25.
