6-foot-2, 215-pound physical frame. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.58. Starts in an open stance with a compact load, then uses a leg kick to start his swing. Bat speed was explosive, showed uphill swing plane and high finish. Showed loud contact during his round. Pull side approach. the switch hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 89 mph. He recorded a position velocity of 79 mph during throw downs; has a clean exchange and choppy footwork. Staggered setup with some flexibility. While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.07-2.19. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used an-over-the-top slot with a quick arm action. Physical catcher headed to Calhoun Community College in the fall.

A physical player all the way around. Arm strength is plus on the mound and behind the plate. Has a nice, low set up behind the plate and did a nice job receiving pitches down in the zone. Very accurate throws to 2B in the high 1.9- low 2.0 range. Real quick transfer. Switch hitter that has a real synched up swing from both sides and does a nice job with the lower half. The bat path has some tilt in it and there is definite thunder in the hands. Big time juice from the left side. On the mound, he again did a nice job using his lower half creating some drive off of the mound. The FB was up to 86 mph (sat 83-85) as he commanded the zone with the FB. The CB showed nice shape and can ultimately be a “put away” pitch in his arsenal. Loved the tempo change he used on the mound.

Big-framed kid with muscular build at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds has swung it well this weekend and he showed more on the mound. At the plate, hits from open stance, simple load, stays through ball well. On the mound, heavy FB at 83-85,T86. Had some 2-seam action to it. SL at 71 had good depth and came out well. Used subtle hesitation variance in his windup.
