With great excitement we bring to you our latest update to the Va/DC Class of 2022 rankings. Only about two months removed from out last update, more than 90 players have been added as we expand to the top 275 across the commonwealth.
Small movements in our first installment which give to you the top 50 players in our rankings. Yesterday PBR updated the Class of 2022 Overall rankings in which an impressive 12 players from the VA/DC area made the cut and saw their name in the rankings. One new face entered our overall rankings in RHP Andrew Shaffner of Grayson Co HS. An NC State Commit, Shaffner really impressed at the VA/DC State games in October.

The @NCStateBaseball commit has a lean athletic frame. High ceiling and more velo in his future. Hit a 372 ft ? in BP as well.

Riser in the ranks is C AJ Shepard who moves up to No. 3 and saw his stock rise in the overall rankings as well after an impressive 2020 from start to finish from the Indiana commit. Also another riser in our top 15 is Ryan Grzesiak of John Champe HS who moves into the No. 14 spot. Bradley Gagen also saw his stock rise after getting to lock in on him more on the bump at the VA/DC State Games. And finally Andrew Burns, who recently moved to Va from Alabama, jumped up to No. 16 after his impressive performance at the State Games as well, showing impressive pop at the plate and some footspeed from the corner position.

The recent @HokiesBaseball commit was at the #VADCStateGames. He was the last arm to throw on a cold dreary night and he did not disappoint. Big riser in ‘22 class & plenty ⛽️ left.
