PBR Mid-Atlantic Border Battle Preview - Game One

The 2015 PBR Mid-Atlantic Border Battle will take place on July 21 and 22 at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland. 2015 marks the second year of this event. The inaugural Border Battle saw a total of 28 players that participated go on to make college commitments. To view last year's roster and where those players have committed CLICK HERE.
Action kicks off tomorrow with batting practice at 8:00. First pitch for Game One will follow at 9:00am with prospects from the Grey and Red teams playing a nine inning game. Dillon Good (1-3) and Connor Bair (7-9), a pair of uncommitted senior right-handers, will start and finish the day on the mound for the Grey Team. 2017 righty Alex Bendzlowicz will work the middle innings. The Red Team will also send two uncommitted seniors to the mound in lefty Dom Coconcelli (1-3) and righty Brett Alaimo (4-6). 2018 righty Travis Perry will throw the final three innings.
The Grey team will showcase nine prospects from Maryland making up 60 percent of their roster. Good, a primary first baseman, is ranked No. 121 in the updated PA Class of 2016 rankings. Bendzlowicz, a primary middle infielder, is currently ranked No. 25 in the PA Class of 2017 rankings.
The Red Team, made up entirely of Pennsylvania prospects, has a number of uncommitted seniors still looking for the right college fit. Catcher Austin Braendel (No. 47) and MIF Kenny McKeever (No. 117) are the highest ranked prospects on the roster.
