11/7/15 6-foot-3, 160-pounder who pitches out of a high three-quarter slot with a slight stab out of the glove. Works around his front side and spins toward first base, inhibiting ability to get extension and work downhill. Fastball sat 75-76, while he will need to show improved feel for his change-up at 66-68 for it to be an effective pitch. Also featured a knuckle curveball at 64-66 that had more knuckle than curve to it, but showed solid downward action.
7/22/15 Left-handed hitter with plenty of room to add strength to his 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame. Started from slightly open stance, taking long stride to slightly closed. Body goes forward with stride, but his hands work and he flashes some barrel whip. Showed some feel for staying inside the baseball. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash and 4.75 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 76-mph exit velocity and 77-mph arm strength with accurate throws during workout.
Pitched out of a high three-quarter slot with some hook and wrap. Three-pitch mix included FB at 77-78, curveball at 66-68, and change-up at 65-66. Directionally works toward the left-handed batter’s box and would benefit from staying on-line toward home plate.
2/14/15 Brady ran a 7.19 60-yard dash and showed above average athleticism with the ability to play through the baseball defensively. The freshman displayed fluid actions and good carry on throws of 76 mph from the outfield. Brady is a 6-foot-2, 160-pound left-handed hitter that has plenty of room and time to add to his frame. He starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short stride to initiate his swing. Brady has a quiet lower half, quick hands and excellent rhythm to his swing. He showed the ability to consistently square the baseball with a bat exit velocity of 79 mph and will be a high follow in this class moving forward.
