8/19/16 Central Bucks South C/3B displayed the solid all-around skill set that led to his commitment to Ursinus College shortly before the start of the tournament. The 5-foot-8, 170-pound right-handed hitter displayed the ability to routinely barrel the baseball in game action with a simple gap-to-gap approach. Above average defensive backstop showed an in-game 2.08 pop time and showed a soft wall when blocking.
4/26/16 Received well and showed a solid glovehand and threw a 2.13 in-game pop time on a tough pitch to handle. Right-handed hitter who is aggressive to the fastball and lined a single to left-center in three at-bats.
7/22/15 Right-handed hitter with some strength in his 5-foot-8, 170-pound frame. Hit from slightly open stance with short stride. Kept head still with simple gap-to-gap approach in BP. Lined two opposite field singles in game action. Showcased 82-mph exit velocity and 66-mph arm strength from the crouch during workout. Posted workout pop times of 2.00-2.13 and a top in-game pop of 2.16. Very good receiver with quick feet and transfer on throws. Also made a couple of nice defensive plays over at third base.

2/15/15 Gross showcased the potential to be a solid receiver at the next level with quick feet and a clean transfer. As his 66 mph arm strength develops his 2.12-2.28 pop times will improve dramatically. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from square and utilizes a lift and replace stride to initiate his swing. Gross registered a 77 mph bat exit velocity with some length to his swing that prevented him from consistently being on time to the hitting zone.

6/9/14 Gross is a 5-foot-8, 165-pound sophomore that showcased pop times of 2.07-2.13 on accurate throws of 70 mph from the crouch. He exhibited solid footwork and a quick exchange while consistently putting the baseball on the bag at 2B. Gross is a right-handed hitter that starts from a square stance. He gets through the baseball to extension well and displayed the ability hit the baseball to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 75 mph.
