September has arrived, which means one thing...our fall events are right around the corner. Our Western New York All-Star Games at Brockport will be held Sunday September 24, 2017, featuring 65 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the middle infielders that will be in attendance and what to expect:

6-foot-1 156 pound slick fielding shortstop who's offensive game is on the rise. Starting to separate himself from the pack.

Ultra-athletic SS at 5-foot-6 132 pounds. Player to watch in the 2020 class.

5-foot-9 150 SS with a repeatable line drive stroke; hands work well out in front with a quick release.

LHH shortstop at 5-foot-6 135 pounds. Good bounce in his step, shows lateral range with a quick release. Compact swing path with balance at the plate.

Samuel Velletri SS / Brockport , NY / 20205-foot-11 180 pound SS with a flat swing path through the zone. Quick release, low arm slot approach, makes the play on the move.

Wiry strong 5-foot-9 145 pounds with a quick bat into the zone. Active approach on the ball, up to 80 MPH across the diamond.

Trenton Rumley 2B / SS / St Mary's, NY / 20215-foot-6 145 pound RHH with with some whip through the zone (83 MPH exit velocity). Makes the play on the move, active feet and a bounce in his step. Player to follow over the long term.
