A slight lift at the point of contact. A lot left in the tank with the bat. Exit velocity was 84 MPH. Defensively- Solid actions in the infield. Moves well laterally, will sit back on the ball right to him. Smooth transition to a low ¾ arm slot. Best throw across the diamond was 74 MPH. As a C, low wide base and active footwork when throwing to 2B. Throws to 2B peaked at 75 MPH. Pop time range was 2.14-2.26.
St. Bonaventure (July 31, 2018)
Stands 5-foot-10, 155-pounds. Even short setup in the box, aggressive, attacks the ball out in front, long path with some lift through contact, power to the gaps, 84 mph arm-strength. Catching, wide base, quick release, 73 mph arm-strength, quick release. SS relaxed approach, soft glove out in front, loose easy actions from his lower half, fast funnel with a quick transfer. Throws from a high ¾ slot, clean easy defender.

Scrappy backstop; quick release with an accurate arm that holds it’s carry. Pop times in the 2.09-2.11 range. Line drive approach at the plate; uses the whole field.

Defensively, simple easy approach, active with the lower half, release is quick and accurate. Added arm strength will only make him better.
