March 16, 2023
This Saturday, Mar. 18th, the PBR Wisconsin team is hosting the Milwaukee Preseason ID at the The MOSH Performance Center in Franklin, Wis. This is an open event for all high school classes (2023-26), and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

EVENT HISTORY
We've been hosting this event for the past 3 years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the PBR Future Games. Among the players in attendance at this event in 2022, there are already 57 commitments among them.
As one of the only seniors in attendance, if not the only one, C Peter Johnson (Blake School, MN, 2022; Bradley) put together a impressive day on both sides of the ball and would go on to commit to the Braves later in the year. As for the 2023 class, C Vidal Colon (University School of Milwaukee, 2023; Illinois-Chicago commit) got to show off his new skills behind the plate. While we have long known Colon as an infielder his move to catcher elevated his profile to a new level. One of the biggest winners of the day was RHP Jonah Conradt (P27 Academy, SC, 2023; Arkansas commit) who continued to look like a high-end name in his respective class. Earlier this year, Conradt earned an invite to our most prestigious event of the year, the Super 60, and there he turned heads from a number of scouts as ran his electric fastball up to 93.4 mph.
2023 ROSTER
A trio of pitchers in attendance were former members of Team Wisconsin at the PBR Futures Games in 2022. RHP Kyle Alivo (St. Thomas More; Iowa) showed really well on last year's summer circuit, RHP Nolan Buss (Arrowhead; Kansas State) is currently ranked No. 3 in his class, and LHP Tannis Lange (Waukesha South; Ohio State) is another one of the top arms in the class that will be in attendance on Saturday.
Tannis Lange (7/27/22)
Position players that were also members of Team Wisconsin at the PBR Future Games that will be in attendance are INF Brock Lulewicz (Muskego; Wichita State), OF Cade Palkowski (Oak Creek; North Carolina), OF Roman Sienza (Mukwonago; Butler), and CIF Aren Robinson (Brookfield Central).
Aren Robinson (7/27/22)
Two ranked members of the Badger State’s 2024 class, SS Eddie Rynders (Wisconsin Luthern, 2024; Kent State commit) and OF RJ Thomae (Hartford Union; Valparaiso) are set to attend Saturday’s showcase in Franklin. Rynders features a smooth left handed swing that he has seemingly added power with each and every look we get at him. He has long been regarded as one of the top prospects in his respective class and he is a name our staff is excited to get an updated look at this weekend. Thomae had a great summer and fall circuit in 2022. He led his talented travel team in hitting, extra-base hits and home runs. He showed a quick and simple barrel that stays in the zone for a long time.
Other pitchers that will be in attendance this weekend are LHP Riker Blahnik (Appleton West) and LHP Robert Barrera (Union Grove). Blahnik has shown a fastball that sits 80-82 mph with two quality off speed pitches. Barrera was someone that showed out this past summer, and we have heard reports of him making big jumps on the mound this offseason. We saw RHP Tyler Suttner (Waukesha North) and RHP Ben Moser (Sussex Hamilton) this past summer and they both showed well. They are names our staff is looking forward to getting an updated look on. RHP Mike Schoon (University School of Milwaukee) is a pitcher our staff has not seen for some time now and he is set to make an appearance on Saturday, and it is safe to say we are exhilarated to see him on the mound.
A group of two-way players in attendance are INF/RHP CJ Trask (Oak Creek), INF/RHP Cooper Kamlay (Franklin), OF/RHP Payten Jibben (Oak Creek), 1B/LHP Graham Kasten (University School of Milwaukee), and C/RHP Jonah Roloff (Kettle Moraine).
Other players worth mentioning in the 2024 class attending are C Lincoln Ascher (Kettle Moraine), C/1B Joshua Gilroy (Arrowhead Union), and C/OF Peyton Ryback (Nathan Hale). All three have been impressive performers in front of our staff and we are certainly excited to get updated looks at them on Saturday.
MIF Jack Lutz (Whitnall) had a really good summer and fall circuit, and is a name to know moving forward. A good basketball player, Lutz has shown athleticism on the diamond out of his 6-foot, 145-pound frame. He has a short and direct handsy swing, and he has the ability to make hard contact with the baseball. Lutz is a name our staff is really looking forward to seeing this weekend in Franklin.
Jack Lutz (9/24/22)
RHP Ryan Buchta (Oak Creek), INF/RHP Jaxon Clayton (Brookfield Central), and RHP/INF Adam Urban (Wauwatosa West) are all names we are looking forward to getting another updated look at on Saturday. Buchta has a projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds, and has shown a fastball that has been up to 79 mph. Clayton is currently ranked No. 8 in the class of 2025; he has shown to be a solid two-way player with a max exit velocity of 93.7 mph, a max velocity across the infield of 88 mph, and a max fastball of 86.4 mph. We recently saw Urban at the South Milwaukee Preseason ID at the beginning of March, where we saw his fastball reach 88.3 mph.
1B/LHP Adam Kudronowicz (Mukwonago), OF/RHP Luke Lehnen Sussex Hamilton, andLHP/1B Ben Verges (Franklin) are three other names in the state’s sophomore class that will be in attendance on Saturday. Kudronowicz is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound two-way prospect who had performed well in front of our staff on the mound, most recently this summer where ran his fastball up to 80 mph from a low slot, and showed feel for a sweeping slider. Lehnen is another name who performed in front of our staff this summer, mainly at the PBR Badger State Games where he collected multiple barrels throughout the weekend, highlighted by a double and go-ahead triple on performance on the second day of action. As for Verges, he is making his PBR showcase debut and he too impressed at the PBR Badger State Games, especially on the mound where the southpaw dominated in his five-inning, complete game shutout.
SS Ben Kuglitsch (Muskego, 2026) is a name our staff is certainly excited to get a look at in a showcase setting, with this being his first-ever PBR showcase. Standing at an advanced 6-foot-2, 165-pounds we have seen Kuglitsch find a multitude of barrels in our handful of looks at him in live gameplay. Despite his young age and long levers, Kuglistch has no problem moving on the infield and he pairs it with a strong, advanced arm. While Kuglitsch’s athleticism points to him sticking on the infield at the next level, he has been up to somewhere in the mid-80s on the mound before.
Ben Kuglitsch (6/9/22)
OF Luke Schaning (Nathan Hale, 2026) and INF/RHP Brayden Alivo (St. Thomas More, 2026) are two names that traveled down to our LakePoint campus to represent Team Wisconsin at the Junior Future Games and both of them are set to attend on Saturday. Schaning is amongst the top athletes in the states 2026 class despite his physical 6-foot-1, 180-pound stature. His strength is on full display while in the right handed batters box as he had recorded EVs up to 92.4 in the past and has also smacked a number of homeruns in front of our staff, too. Alivo is a projectable 5-foot-10, 145-pound, two-way athlete that has consistently performed well in front of our staff. Now in his first year of high school and another year of off-season training under his belt, we are excited to see the gains Alivo has made to his game.
Luke Schaning (7/26/22)
The names listed above are only scratching the surface of the amount of talent that will be in attendance at this large event on Saturday. Also, perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
