02.19.18  Muniz is an all-around baseball player with a gamer mentality and high motor at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. On the mound, the right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a quick arm swing. His fastball topped out at 90 and 91 mph in one inning of work, sitting mostly in the 85-87 mph range. His curveball flashed depth and 10/4 shape at 71-73 mph and he mixed in a 78 mph changeup. The two-way player barrelled up three balls at the plate, a fly ball to centerfield, a fly ball to right field, and a single to right field. Hitting in the leadoff spot, Rockwall goes as Muniz goes. He is the table setter not only with his bat, but with his speed and instincts on the field.

03.10.17 - Oklahoma recruit. 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame. Muniz, normally a shortstop, was behind the dish for this game. He showed easy actions and good receiving skills. But in batter's box is where the junior really stole the show. Muniz went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double to left field and a drag bunt base hit, where he ran a 3.9-second home-to-first time. Muniz scored a run and stole a base.

5-foot-7, 150-pound strong frame with well defined lower half. Played most of his innings at shortstop. Offensively he was 2-for-4 in the first two games with two base hits, one of which was a crisp line drive to centerfield.
