INF Reid Linkmeyer (Liberty, 2025; OR) made his presence felt immediately at his PBR event debut this winter, which came at the Pacific Northwest Preseason All-State. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound freshman passes the eye test right away and has exciting projection to dream on. Ran a 7.13 in the 60-yard dash and followed it up with one of the loudest BP rounds we saw all winter. Linkmeyer’s hardest hit ball clocked in at 99 mph, his furthest ball traveled 358 feet, and he averaged 89.7 mph off the barrel - all of which are advanced batted ball metrics for someone his age. He generated some easy gap-to-gap contact when he elevated the ball and there’s plenty of power to dream on given his age and where he’s at right now. Physically you just don’t see many prospects with the upside Linkmeyer possesses and he has a considerably high ceiling. Exciting follow in the 2025 class.
