5-foot-11, 150-pound slim build, Howard is wiry strong and athletic. He throws from a high ¾ slot, fairly short arm action, arm works quickly with no restrictions. He sits in the high 80’s, topping out at 91 mph. He pitches with an aggressive mindset and pounds the zone. His best secondary offering is his curveball, the pitch has late downward break, potentially being a strikeout pitch. Howard’s stuff plays up in short stints; he has the makings of being a weapon for Chipola at the next level. Exciting arm with a bright future. 2020 prospect who has continued to trend upwards.

2020 grad who now stands 5-foot-7, 125-pounds. Solid actions and fundamentals across the board. Ran a 7.34 in his sixty with room to shave a few ticks off that time. In the field, solid defender with quick first step and moves well to both sides. Athletic and agile in lower half, works through ball well and can get rid of it in a hurry, was 78 mph across the diamond from a low-3/4 arm slot. At the plate, right-handed hitter with feel and quiet setup in the box. Hands work back and stays in his legs through swing, at times got around baseballs, losing his extension and finish, line drive type hitter with some quick twitch and a knack for finding the barrel. Don't let size fool you, Howard has some game and will only keep getting better. One to watch in the future as he matures.

Undersized 2020 grad Drew Howard, listed at 5-foot-4, 110-pounds with young features and strength gains remaining. Plays above his size with feel and understanding of the game.  Ran a 4.79 from the right side down the line, hits from balanced position, hands back in good spot to hit, quiet actions with minimal movement, barrelled up baseballs in the cage, hands worked well to ball, easy, simple swing. Defensively, agility in lower half, confident glove with clean, quick transfer to 3/4 arm slot, was 74 mph across the infield, solid actions with proper routes. On the mound, rhythm and tempo evident, uses everything he has, attacks with an aggressive fastball at 74 mph, curveball showed feel and spin with downward action while changeup is still development in progress as at times pitch would be to hard. Overall, quality player with actions and strong compete level. Will follow as Howard matures and becomes stronger over the next few years.
