Physical: Physical, stocky 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with strength in the actions. 7.54 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, open stance with the hands resting on the shoulder. Utilized a repeatable lift and replace stride with stretch in the load allowing for quality hip shoulder separation on the launch. Entered the hitting zone through a flat barrel path with plenty of lift after contact towards the finish. Hit into a stiff front side while repeatedly contacting the baseball at the front of the plate generating hard contact to the left centerfield gap. Barrel whipped through the hitting window with above average bat speed, but showed high level bat to ball skills as well. Registered a 93 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The backstop showcased quality receiving skills beating the ball to the spot with regularity. Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.00 on accurate throws of 70 mph from the crouch out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway and quickness on the front end. Featured powerful straight line footwork in line with the target and smooth, repeatable transfers on accurate throws on the bag. Used above average lateral movement to create soft walls on either side of the plate in order to recover on blocks. C - 70 mph
