Physical: 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Strong, athletic build.
Run: 7.31 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Up right, open stance, hands starting back and in with waggle; Leg kick striding closed while hands get up and back Barrel is quick to the ball and accelerates through the zone on an uphill plane.
Power: 90 MPH raw exit velocity. Gap to gap approach showing pull side power.
Defense: 1.99-2.04 pop times. Low, athletic set up, quick foot work with a smooth, in motion transfer.
Arm: Quick release putting it around the bag. C - 76 MPH.
The 2021 graduate continues to impress every time he performs at a PBR event. At the plate, the right handed hitter displayed an impressive batting practice round. Showing off his short compact swing with pop. Consistently making hard contact. Defensively, the catcher improved his pop time with a 1.196-2.02. The 2021 catcher is a must follow.
Impressive performance for Yandricha at the Fall Top Prospect Games. At the plate, the right handed hitter stands in the box in a slightly open stance. Quick direct path to the baseball. Displayed natural bat whip through the hitting zone. Swings with intent. Defensively, Yandricha worked out as a catcher. Displayed active footwork behind the dish. Smooth transition to a quick release from a high ¾ arm slot. Yandricha is a must follow.
Athletic frame with square upper body and lean build. 5-foot-10, 155-pounds. Offensively – Upright stance, slightly open to the pitcher. Stays balanced while getting into short, forward stride. Lands in athletic hitting position with hands loaded above back shoulder. Loose hands that show noticeable quickness as they work the barrel thru the zone. Level swing plane with some lift at the end. Projects to hit for more power with additional strength. Aggressive finish after contract. Defensively – Soft glove hand when receiving. Maintains low hips with quality posture before getting into throwing motion. Feet align with 2b quickly as he exchanges and gets into low ¾ release point. Cuts off momentum after release, backside could get thru throws more consistently. Showed athletic actions with blocking and recovering.
