Pitching - Bailey stands 6-foot-0 195-pounds with a solid strong frame. On the mound he uses a balanced approach with good separation and drive towards home. He throws from a high ¾ slot with a fastball sitting 83-84 mph. His curveball has serious 11/5 hard downward shape at 74 mph. He finishes over his front side knee with a slight turn towards first base. He located both his fastball and curveball for strikes and showed fast hands speed on both.
3B/Hitting - Bailey stands 6-foot-0 195-pounds with a strong, athletic frame. At 3B he uses good footwork to get around the baseball, fields it out in front of his body slightly on his right left side, and funnels the ball smoothly to his belt with a clean transfer. He throws form a high ¾ slot, 83 mph arm strength, and gets his back side through his throws. At the plate his setup up is wide, weight shifted back, and back elbow high. He uses a small toe tap – stride for timing on the pitch, powers his hands inside the ball with a slightly inclined bat path through the zone. He uses long extension though contact with a shoulder height one handed finish. His exit velocity was 90 mph off a tee and he ran a 4.39 home to first time.
