Granger stands 6-foot-0 160-pounds with an athletic build. On the mound he throws from a high ¾ slot generating an 80-82 mph arm side run fastball. He throws a 69 mph curveball that has a small hump early, he needs to get on top of that pitch more and out in front on the release to get the hard late bite. He is very projectable because of this athleticism and quick hand speed (85 from OF). He needs to continue to develop and work on getting more extension on his pitches and finish.
Andrew Bailey RHP (Honeoye Falls-Lima HS, 2015)
Bailey stands 6-foot-0 195-pounds with a solid strong frame. On the mound he uses a balanced approach with good separation and drive towards home. He has great extension throwing from a high ¾ slot with a fastball sitting 80-82 mph with more projectable velocity in his arm. He uses plus extension from a mid ¾ slot with a fastball sitting 81-83 mph with late action. His curveball sat 73 mph with an early hump and 1/7 shape. If he focuses on getting more on top of the curveball and out in front more he will see later, hard action. Very promising young lefty with a lofty ceiling.
Jake Hewitt RHP (Penfield HS, 2015)
Hewitt stands 6-foot-1 195-pounds and has an athletic build. On the bump he starts upright with good balance over the rubber. He drives hard off his back leg going forward throwing from a mid ¾ slot with good shoulder direction. His fastball sat 82-83 mph with good late arm action and the ability to work both sides of the plate. His curveball shows signs of late 10/4 shape but slows his arm down. He finishes very well using great extension and length over his front side falling to the first base side.
Jim Dawson RHP (Webster HS, 2015)
Dawson stands a towering 6-foot-5 215-pounds with a good frame for even more weight. He shows balance over the rubber staying tall and using straight shoulder alignment. He drives off his back side throwing from an over the top slot with a fastball sitting 82-84 mph with some deception. Hi curveball was 69-70 mph with 10/4 shape, signs of bite, and finishes all his pitches with great extension and over his front side. He slows his arm down on his curveball and with increased hand speed he will see more depth and bite on his already solid pitch.
Jacob Burlingame RHP (Horseheads HS, 2016)
Burlingame stands 5-foot-10 170-pounds with an athletic body. On the mound he works fast through his delivery with a very clean, effortless arm that throws from a mid ¾ slot. His fastball was 80-82 mph with signs of plenty more in the tank (88 form OF) and natural arm side run. His curveball was 72 mph with 12/6 shape and good downward spin. He could finish his pitches a little more out in front, over his front knee which will allow for more action on his pitches.
Ryan Stott RHP (Liverpool HS, 2015)
Stott stands 6-foot-0 182-pounds with a slender build. On the mound he uses a quick delivery over the rubber and drops hard on his back leg before going forward. He has great shoulder alignment and throws form a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 81-83 mph with late life and a solid feel for a 10/4 shape curveball at 69 mph. He finishes over his front knee and falls hard to the first base side.
Bryson Turner RHP (Brandywine Heights HS, 2015)
Turner stands 5-foot-11 180-pounds with a solidly built frame. On the mound he uses a fast knee lift with balanced tempo. He drops and drives hard on his back side before releasing. Joshua Kuderian LHP (Lakeshore Catholic Ontario, 2015)
Kuderian stands 5-foot-11 185-pounds with a strong frame. On the mound he uses rotational shoulders with a long arm action. He throws from an over the top arm slot with a fastball topping 77 mph with arm side run. He shows nice 1/7 shape on his curveball at 66 mph with good late action. He finishes his pitches over his front knee and remains balanced through his delivery.
Steven Gerringer RHP (Arlington HS, 2015)
Gerringer stands 5-foot-10 150-pounds with plenty of room to add some weight. On the mound he uses a quick tempo, keeps his hands high, and uses straight shoulder alignment. He throws from a low ¾ slot generating natural arm side sink and tail, his fastball was consistently around 80-81 mph and his curveball had nice 11/5 shape with an early hump at 65 mph. I would like to see him finish his pitches more over his knee out in front.
David Verrett RHP (Cicero North HS, 2016)
Verrett stands 6-foot-5 220-pounds with a great pitchers frame. On the mound he starts tall and falls on his back side when he pushes forward. His front side opens up too early and he leans with shoulder tilt towards the first base side. He throws from an over the top slot with a fastball sitting 76-78 mph. He has some deception with a lot of downhill plan. His curveball was 65 mph with late action and a 11/4 shape. He has a great deal of ceiling if he can continue to improve.
Nick Daigler RHP (Corning HS, 2017)
Daigler stands 6-foot-6 135-pounds with plenty of room to gain size and strength. On the mound he uses a high knee lift and stays balanced over the rubber before driving forward off his back side. He works with straight shoulder alignment towards his target and throws form a high ¾ slot. His fastball sits 74-75 mph with some late run, he throws a 61 mph changeup that needs continued development and more hand speed. He finishes with long extension and over his front knee well.
Evan Reichel RHP (West Genesee HS, 2015)
Reichel stands 6-foot-1 190-pounds with a solid athletic frame. He uses a high knee lift and stays tall over the rubber with good separation. He has a long (towards 2nd base) arm action throwing from a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 79-81 mph with downward action and shows a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade at 71 mph. He uses a strong finish over his front side showing good balance and extension.
Nikolas Malachowski RHP (Shenedehowa HS, 2016)
Malachowski stands 6-foot-1 185-pounds with a pitchers frame and athletic build. On the mound he uses a high knee lift, hands very high by his face, and leans back some on his back side. He drives forward off a slightly bent back leg with shoulder alignment towards homeplate. He throws from a power high ¾ slot with a fastball sitting 81-83 mph with good life. His curveball shows quick hand speed at 73 mph with 11/7 shape with late bit. He needs to work on finishing his pitches more over his front side to get more extension and action on the ball. Interesting prospect to follow.
Dominick Spinoso RHP (Jamesville-Dewitt HS, 2017)
Spinoso stands 5-foot-8 155-pounds with a slender, strong build. On the mound he uses a big side step and high knee lift. He pushes hard off his back side and throws from a high ¾ slot. His fastball sits 80-83 mph with quick hand speed. His curveball has 11/5 hard shape at 72 mph. He has a chance to be very good with continued development and hard work, definitely a follow guy.
