Zanetello recently committed to Arkansas after being the top uncommitted prospect in the Midwest for quite some time. He’s a wiry, explosive athlete that’s headed to the Super 60 in February where he’ll likely put up some of the loudest numbers of the entire event. He floats around the infield, is athletic enough to roam the outfield, and has borderline elite bat speed at the plate from the right side. Expect Zanetello to get plenty of draft looks as one of the highest ceiling athletes in Missouri.

One of the top uncommitted 2023 graduates in the entire country, INF Nazzan Zanetello (Christian Brothers College) stays put at second overall. At 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, Zanetello is a high level athlete that’s capable of impacting the game in multiple ways as a result. He’s one of the fastest runners in the Midwest and savvy on the infield, all while working with wiry, whippy arm strength that’s reached as high as 91 mph at our events. Zanetello maintains such a calm and collected presence at the plate, generating easy bat speed from the right side with a loose, level path to contact. With all sorts of upside to all areas of his game, Zanetello’s status as a premier prospect in this class remains unchanged.

Nazzan Zanetello: SS/RHP, (2023) Christian Brothers College, MO. 6-foot-1, 167-pound physical frame. Exciting prospect. At the plate, Zanetello's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, had flat swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 84 mph; has a clean exchange, soft hands and smooth feet. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.65. Projectable on the mound, had good arm speed with an over-the-top arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Has consistent balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph; commanded the zone with his fastball. Showed some action on his curveball (65-66).
